 The problem with the Tivoli was it had an annoying hiss at very low volume. When I would raise the volume to overcome this hiss, it would get too loud. I recently replaced it with the Sangean WR-11. It has none of this low volume hiss at all and is very pleasant to listen to at low volume

  Turning it on almost guaranteed to change tuning and or volume.  Two stars is a gift.

The adjacent channel suppression or reject is poor.  Signal capture is poor, sound is way to bass heavy.  I have had 2 Sangean radios in the immediate past and this is a HUGE disappointment.  Not even close to the quality of the previous radios

* Speaker Amp: SMSL AD18. Finally my first (but probably not last) audio setup is complete! The sundara is my first set of pro-consumer grade headphones and I am loving the sound so far. To my untrained ears, the audio I am getting is just so much richer and fuller in comparison to what I was using before.

Congrats!!! I hope you are enjoying it as much as I am.  I’ve got mine this week and I’m so overwhelmed. I had tried he400i but the bass was lacking too much for my taste, and it gets distorted in 80% volume for tracks with vocals and bass. 
Replaced it with the sundara after extensive research and WOW. Isn’t it amazing? And you probably got an even fuller experience, because I’m pushing mine with a little buddy called Fiio Q1 MarkII, over balanced output, but I can’t complain. It’s all I hoped for and more. Bass boost ON is a cherry on the top of this cake hehe

It is finally all here!

 Okay, so it comes in like this metal housing, it's fairly lightweight, but it feels solid. You have a power button on the front and a volume knob all in one and then a 3.5 millimeter output for headphones on the front. Now, switching over to the back, you have the 24 volt input is well as a optical input

 So let's say you had your speaker set to ten and you were headphones set to twenty plug in the headphones it's set to 20. Take out the headphones, the volume automatically adjusts back to ten. That way, you don't blow up either a pair of headphones, because the volume will go from zero to sixty five four speakers and if you put it at sixty-five four speakers and then you plug in a headphone in a place at max volume. If you got efficient, headphones, they're gon na break and vice versa, you put thirty five four headphones and then you unplug the headphones as playing thirty-five out out of the speakers

 A micro USB input, a coaxial input and in 3.5 millimeter input. So that's a lot of options. Oh and it's got bluetooth, oh and then it looks like it has NFC

 They both have the same remote and they both have tone controls that allow you to adjust the bass and treble to your personal preference. They had EQ presets that I found somewhat useful because they didn't go overboard in their tuning now on to what's new. The SI 300 uses bluetooth 5.0, as opposed to bluetooth 4

 I normally have these Wharf tails connected to an AVR that is over a hundred watts per channel Class A B, and I really couldn't tell the difference between playing them on the SI 300 versus on that AVR and that's a huge compliment. That'S probably one of the best compliments I could give this amplifier is that I couldn't tell that difference as somebody with a better ear, or maybe with different speakers, could tell the difference I just couldn't. The other thing I did notice is that this amplifier is quiet. Now, if I did turn it to the maximum volume, I was able to get some hiss out of them, but not so bad at most usable volumes

 Now, what's the same? Well, the price is about the same as of right now, they're, both under $ 150. They both claim the same amount of power at 80 watts per channel at 4, ohms and 40 watts per channel at 8 ohms. The screen itself looks very similar in size and shape they're, both multicolored screens, and they give you the option to choose a color that suits your preference. The UI itself seems the same, and you can use them both as decks
