Samsung SWA-9100S/XU 2.0 Wireless Rear Speaker Kit - Product Overview

 I got this to pair up with my 75 inch Samsung TV and it seems like it doesn’t get loud enough for me. Well I own it now.

Kinda disappointed

I keep losing signal from the rear speakers. I have tried resetting the whole system and starting over with the setup. I still get loss of signal from the rear speakers. The blue link light flashes when the signal is lost

 The speakers work well the wireless adapter could be a little smaller bit such is life. A stand for the satellite speakers from Samsung would be nice though. Let's make it happen Samsung something table top wise would be most welcome.

First and foremost most reviewers saying there's no sound or it's very low the rear speakers are adjusted separately volume wise. Find the instructions adjusting their volume makes a world of difference. The speakers work well the wireless adapter could be a little smaller bit such is life. Good Speakers for the price

Added these wireless speakers to my Sound Bar to provide a surround sound experience. Considering the reduced price of $70 they are a good value and provide a good listening experience. They were easy to set up and operate.

Good addition to my HW-N6500 Sound Bar

 My only suggestion to Samsung on the design would be to try to find a smaller power cord that can more easily fit in a speaker stand pole.

 I had hoped to route the cord through speaker stands that I purchased for them- but the plugs were just too big. I ended up cutting the cords in the middle then splicing them back together in order to keep a neat appearance on the stand. Good speakers- bad documentation

Overall, I'm very happy with this speaker kit. I paired them to the HW-M550 soundbar and they connected with no issues. As mentioned in another review, it did take some digging to figure out how to control them via the soundbar remote. Manuals for both the soundbar and this kit could be a bit better

My only complaint and reason for 3 stars for design is the length of the speaker cable provided. It makes it hard to find a spot to place the module so it is "out of the way" and still allow cable management.

A decent set of speakers for the price.

They are not the greatest but they do the job. I wish they were wireless. You still need to connect them to the wireless tower that comes with it.

Rear speakers are absolutely fantastic for movie watching and even modern shows. SWA-9500S with upfiring Atmos speakers makes them even more immersive. Definitely go for them and convince your wife to let you install them.

So I bought a Samsung QN9 (QN90A) 65” TV from Costco for $1700. I also bought a Samsung HW-Q700A soundbar from Best Buy. With mounting bracket and professional to install it, I’m roughly $2500. This is also my max budget.

Earlier I saw a deal on Best Buy that if I bought HW-Q700A ($400 Black Friday deal) and SWA-9500S ($250 Black Friday deal) together then I’ll receive an additional $50 discount. Making the total $600 instead of $650. 

Is this worth “refunding” my just recently Soundbar just to get this packaged deal despite breaking my max budget by another $200?

The other obstacle is convincing my wife wall mounting the rear speakers because they’d stick out like a sore thumb where the open kitchen and living are connects. Lol

Is the Samsung HW-Q700A fine without SWA-9500S?

 It also have the advantage to be upgradable with the addition of optional rear speakers SWA-9500S, which will add 2 back channels and 2 up-back channels, for a complete 5.1.4 system. In the same order of idea, you have LG soundbars, like the SP7Y, a bit more expensive but better sounding according to reviews, which is also upgradable with rear speakers

Right now I'm considering the JBL 5.0 Multibeam and the Sony HT-G700, as I want to keep the price below 1000 Canadian dollars. 

I have a Sony x950H TV, the 2020 model. It comes with an eARC, but I've heard these TVs have issues with their eARCs that cause the sound on soundbars to drop out. If anyone with this TV has experienced this I'd love to hear from you. I could always save money on a soundbar and put that extra money into building out my 4K collection instead.

Which soundbar should I get?

The Samsung SWA-9500S rear speakers each have their own power supply and use a 5’ power cord. That is different from some other Samsung and Sony rear speakers that use a powered hub and speaker wires connecting the hub to the speaker’s themselves, which do not have a power cord of their own.  These speakers work only with the soundbars: HW-Q700A/ZA HW-Q800A/ZA HW-Q900A/ZA
