The best 60-inch TV that we've tested is the Samsung QN60Q60BAFXZA. It's the entry-level model in Samsung's 2022 QLED lineup, so it's not as feature-rich as the higher-end models and has worse picture quality, but it's the only available in a 60-inch size. Regardless, the Q60B comes with the same easy-to-use Tizen smart platform as the more expensive models, and it has a great selection of apps available to download, so you don't have to worry about buying an external streaming device to watch your favorite shows. The included remote also has a built-in mic you can use for voice control with Bixby, Alexa, and Google Assistant to search for content.

In terms of picture quality, it's a good choice for bright and dark rooms. Great TV for the money, but watch for a pink screen

  One complaint on this is that some of the smart features are not excellent.  For example, on the remote, there are several buttons to open up Netflix/Prime/Disney+ etc. but there's no way to change where those buttons lead. So for someone like me, who uses Hulu more often than anything else, the only other direct option is to use the microphone, which frequently misunderstands me- as most voice activated things do

The 6 Best 4k TVs Under $1,500 - Spring 2022

 My issue is going to be around lower resolution games. It does have an auto game mode, which doesn't seem to want to be as auto as I think it should be, and the input lag is sufficiently low, as is the case with most TVs with a game mode. 4K 120 performance is great for those few titles that support it right now, and I don't think I'm going to spend too much time griping about the lack of VRR right now either. On the whole, it's fine, but nothing super exciting when it comes to gaming

 Anytime I press the back button to get out of, say, a YouTube video, and I have to repeat myself, I'm not pleased. If I have to repeat myself more than once, I'm annoyed, and yes, I found myself annoyed by this TV sluggish operation regularly, to the point that I would rather buy a Chromecast with Google TV and use that every day than what's built right into the TV already. And aside from it being laggy, I, and others I've spoken to, report some just weird glitches from time to time. Like the image taking a while to catch up to a recent change that's been made, or some audio dropouts when switching from one input to another, and they're hard to duplicate

 Bottom line, this TV has been a bit glitchy and laggy. I ran the software updates, it's connected via ethernet, so it's not hurting for bandwidth, and pure and simple, the TV is sluggish in its operation. Anytime I press the back button to get out of, say, a YouTube video, and I have to repeat myself, I'm not pleased. TCL 5-Series Google TV (S546) Review | A balancing act

 Is the new TCL 5-series Google TV better than the Roku version?

 And in the end, the most important question remains the same.

 I'm Caleb Denison, and this is my review of the TCL 5-series Google TV.

 That would be the S546 model as opposed to the S535 model, which runs on the Roku TV

 We're going to find out what's better about this Google TV version, what is not as good

 as the Roku version, and why, when you add it all up, you may or may not want to buy

 Before I dig in, I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone out there watching,

 Let's get right to some good stuff, shall we?

 The TCL 5 Series Google TV version is a brighter TV than the Roku version, and it offers 4K

 120Hz for gaming, whereas the Roku version does not.

 Although it's important to point out that VRR is not available on this TV.

 So from those two metrics alone, the S546 here has some improvements over the S535.

 Well, yeah, in some ways it is better, but in other ways it is not.

 So from a peak brightness perspective, this TV can do about 445 nits in SDR and between

 That right there makes this TV more desirable than the Roku version, because I feel like

 The Roku version for me was like, not HDR.

 Still a good value, but I don't think it really earns that HDR badge, even though it does

 Speaking of, one of the things I love about this TV is the little info pane that pops

 I pulled up season four of Goliath, and there was the HDR10 plus logo.

 I like it when TVs give you that little bit of confirmation.

 So too then is HDR, and the backlight control is pretty respectable.

 I watched the aforementioned Goliath at night with subtitles turned on, and honestly, I

 wasn't bothered by the backlight fluctuations the way I have been on some much more expensive

 So I consider that a bonus for the average viewer who does the subtitles thing, but also

 It doesn't have the most zones, but it does have backlighting zones, and the VA panel

 on this TV offers good on-axis contrast.
