If you're looking for something cheaper and you aren't going to take advantage of the gaming features of the Sony X85K, then a lower mid-range model like the Samsung QN43Q60BAFXZA is a good alternative. Its picture quality is similar to the Sony model, as it has the same fantastic contrast and remarkable black uniformity but lacks a local dimming feature. Although it has worse reflection handling, it still gets bright enough to fight glare in rooms with a few lights around.

Its built-in Tizen smart interface is very easy to use and has a huge selection of streaming apps, so you can easily find your favorite content. The mic in the remote gives you access to Google Assistant, Bixby, and Alexa, so you can choose the voice assistant you prefer. One of the downsides of this TV is that while it displays a wide range of colors in HDR, its HDR peak brightness is just okay, so it doesn't deliver the best HDR experience, but that's what you have to expect for a TV in this price range.

 As soon as you open the box for the Q60B, one thing is going to jump out at you immediately.

 For anyone who isn't familiar, local dimming sort of fine-tunes individual zones of brightness

 Luckily though, the 60 doesn't seem to suffer much without it.

 For HDR, the Q60B can handle HLG and HDR10+, and does a decent job with it.

 The highlights aren't quite as evident on this one as they are on the models above it,

 but for the casual movie viewer, you likely won't notice much of a difference.

 For as good as the picture is though, there are a few aspects you'll want to take into

 The blur on fast-moving objects isn't quite as natural looking as it is on the Q80B and

 higher models, so sports fanatics may want to consider moving up to that one, but again,

 for the casual viewer, this isn't going to be an issue.

 Another area where this one suffers a little is in the viewing angles.

 If you're sitting directly in front, it's no problem at all, everything looks great,

 but as you move off to the sides, you will notice the color quality starts to fade a
