These Eddie Bauer boots fit well, feel great, and are well made (sewed in many places instead of just glued) ! The shipment arrived in a timely fashion.

The fit is very secure. I changed out slightly thicker insoles and the bunion was not happy. Now, I know my feets ain't grown that bigly. So what's up with the boot sizing? I'm glad I went into the store and tried them on

Could not ask for more there. I love the treads on these, and the overall design aesthetic is definitely a step up.

I can't speak to the durability yet, but the materials lead me to believe that these will last a long time. I bought the clearance color and am not a huge fan of the yellow trim, but other than that I really like the look of them. You can't see the yellow with jeans over them. MUCH taller. That's great news for those who couldn't wear this model before and had to go with the traditionally roomier boots, like Keen, but not good for those like myself who appreciated a boot that their foot wouldn't get lost in. I have no doubt that this would be a great boot for the new customers that Salomon will gain, but it's VERY MUCH not for some of those of us who favored this model in the past.
