However, i wanted to point out here, despite all of this softness and lightness, you do have a very decent amount of padding here in the ankle area in the shaft, which is very nice, contributes to the protection which we will talk about later and, of course, contributes To the support of your ankle, which contributes to the comfort level, everything contributes to everything, and you probably already noticed this cut out here in the back of the heel, which also contributes to the comfortable, especially whenever you're running, definitely a great boot

So so these are the Solomon outline mid GTX women's walking bees now picking them up. Initially, they actually feel really lightweight. Now they are gore-tex lines, so they're going to keep the feet nice and dry, but they've also got mesh around the outside just here and here which ascertains to the breathable factor and they feel quite robust. They'Ve got a contour grip, salt and and they've also got some nice traction points there

 I mean they're really flexible, as you can see, and you can move your foot quite easily, especially on this note and the canta grip, which is what's underneath. It'S really keeping you stable and which is pretty good because, especially on this ice, it's a little bit a little bit rough, and now we just see how it goes so onwards and upwards [, Music ]. So today I've been wearing these Salomon outline. It'S TTX beats now they are emitted by big human of Rome like trendy socks up my trousers

So let's talk about this boot in particular. I grew up in a desert, so I'm not used to cold at all, but now I live in Florida, so yeah. But let me know, guys, if you had experience testing them in some really, really cold temperatures, let me know

60 or something like that, I can't remember, yeah it must have been like £12.60 and because of that, so I got two pairs for £12.60, the actual socks are these ones, they're not particularly like thick, I don't know if you can really see that, they're not particularly thick but they are really, really comfortable and I've not had, oh well, I say I've not had, I have had some itching, just a little tiny bit, particularly in my toe area whenever I wear these and a little bit around here, I can feel it now, just ever so slightly uncomfortable but when I've been wearing these, I've not had any problem with sweaty feet or anything and I'm such a sweaty person, it's gross, so I've not had any problems with that and you feel like these boots should be really, really warm because they feel like they're coated, it feels like they're fleece coated inside but actually, they don't, their feet get warm, I've never experienced it before because I normally get sweaty and my feet are just wet with sweat, which is bleh, but I've not had that with these, they've stayed dry even though they felt warm and I am just, maybe you can tell, I'm so happy with these boots, it's the best pair I've ever had so I would highly recommend them and if you can get them at that price as well, we go outdoors, again, I'll sell you the website, it was a sale so they may not still have the sale on but have a look, do the little price guarantee thing and it's highly worth it if you can, so yeah, definitely recommend these boots.

 I've got a long hike coming up and that's why I've got these. I normally spend 35, 50 quid on a cheap pair from, I don't know, Go Outdoors, is it HiGear or HiTech or something like that? But these are just so so good. So these cost, in Go Outdoors, if you don't have a distant card, they cost £180. If you pay £5 a year to get prices that they should be charged at then it's £162 and what I did was I found them cheaper online

 I've got nothing bad to say about them yet. All I could say is that when they're new they are fairly tight, tightly fitted and they're fairly stiff so definitely take them for a walk before you do any long hikes.  If you look at Google shopping ads, you know when you do a product search and at the top you've got sponsored ads and it's a picture with the price and the link, right? Even though they're paid for ads, if you click on them, it's a really good way to find quickly if there's a cheaper product somewhere else and that's what I did. I can't remember the name of the company, I'll have to put it up on the screen, but I found it, they were in sale for £127 and Go Outdoors do a lowest price guarantee so if you find the same product and it has to be the same product in the same colour, in the same size and you have to prove that it's in stock, then they match the price but they also give you 10% off of that as well. So I got these for £115 which maybe I'm just proud of myself but I think that's a fantastic price because they're the most expensive ones that they do for Salomon, they are fairly new, the guy was telling me, and they are just incredibly comfortable. Another positive to think about is when your feet, your toes touch this bit, you know in Die Hard where at the beginning the guy on the plane says you just make balls with your feet on the carpet, probably age myself there, but if you do the opposite and stretch your toes out you can feel almost like memory foam in the actual lining, so in this little bit all the way up here, it's just like walking as one of my friends would say, she would say it's just like walking through clouds, it really is just like you've got nothing on your feet and normally when I go walking with the cheaper ones you can feel it rubbing

SALOMON Quest 4 4D Gore-Tex Walking Boots - Review

 I have had both the previous versions of these and I have loved them, however I use them for completely different things. So I want to talk about what I use these boots for, a couple of the features that are different between them, but they are very similar, and then I want you guys to make the call on which one is going to be best, because again that is subjective. New Salomon QUEST 4 GTX Or Salomon X ULTRA 4 MID GTX - Which Is Better?? (2021 Updates)

 After my dividend, these were around 165 bucks with the 20% annual coupon applied. You can't beat that for these type of boots.

 Could not ask for more there. I love the treads on these, and the overall design aesthetic is definitely a step up.

What I CAN say about these new ones is that they have been redesigned and are now much more fit for hiking. The toe box is nearly perfect compared to the horrible box in my original pair from 8 years back. The sole has been completely redesigned with a ton of computer data, and it shows, as they are more grippy and resemble soft spikes more than the older soles. The beefier cut also helps prevent water flow in certain areas

Top of the line even if they have some issues.

 MUCH taller.  That's great news for those who couldn't wear this model before and had to go with the traditionally roomier boots, like Keen, but not good for those like myself who appreciated a boot that their foot wouldn't get lost in.  I have no doubt that this would be a great boot for the new customers that Salomon will gain, but it's VERY MUCH not for some of those of us who favored this model in the past.  And, BTW, it's also about 1/2 a size longer

Big change from prior Quest 4Ds: Absolutely not for "low volume feet" -- (feet that are skinny)

 Most boots are advertised as waterproof but then you often see boots that come with these flash points around the laces and the tongue. Fortunately with these they've got this tough cordura like fabric that extends the gore-tex right around the foot, continues it from the upper right through the tongue basically wrapping your entire foot completely shielding it from water. The high ankle obviously helps there as well it's definitely serving me well out here in this Pembrokeshire bog land. As for durability it's a little bit too early for me to give a verdict on that
