 I think it works decently there, so it does, I think serve some roll. Again, the rest of the shoe very tight, very snug. Maybe a little bit too snug, probably go up half size, but the top issue had a little bit too much room for my ankle to play with, so I wish they would add maybe a couple more eyelets or kind of clips for the lacing system to tie with so I could have a more snug fit there. However, I thought the padding and ankle and achilles area was fairly comfortable

 can be a little bit lighter and probably even more agile. This 160 shoe only comes in at 13.4 ounces, which is pretty good for a mid-cut hiking boot. It definitely feels light on foot, and it's probably one of the big positives of this particular model

 Now it's not the most supportive experience, but I think it does its job as far as comfort and protection from outside debris. I also really appreciated the large pull tab they added to the back. Very easy to grab. It's not your wimpy pull tab, super easy to grip, which I really appreciate

 My issue with this pack is the chest strap. It is attached to the pack by a plastic bar on each shoulder strap and is designed to be easily adjusted, which it is. It however pops off one side of the pack if too much pressure is applied to it and because neither side is fixed to the pack I ended up loosing the whole strap. Salomon disappointingly does not carry replacement parts for these bags so I am going to have to sew on a different strap to make the pack usable again

Don’t loose the chest strap.

 The chest strap is at the smallest setting and it moves around a lot. Wait strap only has a little room left to get tighter also. The unisex sizing S/m isn’t quite the right fit for smaller framed females. I wish they had more size range or a female specific pack

This would be a great spot to stuff an extra layer and there are two open stretch: pockets on the sides, the lightweight bungees and stowable tool. Loops can hold trekking poles or ice tools and the webbing strap up front compresses the load or provides additional storage. This is one small but mighty pack for all your active pursuits

If you're looking for just a backpack just to be a backpack though, and to and from the office, maybe to the gym, to and from class, this bag is gonna fit your needs very well. As long as you don't expect it to be feature-rich and have all these pockets and you know what you're getting into, you're gonna love this bag. Now to the cons of the bag

 It's still just that Cordillera fabric and I found that it doesn't breathe very well on your back and it's kind of a buzzkill for me. My next con is gonna be the laptop sleeve is not padded I Don't really know how you could market this bag for you know, everyday use where people are taking their laptops here and there and the only thing protecting that laptop is a tiny piece of nylon separating that in the main compartment. It's just a recipe for disaster, especially with the crap that we throw in the main compartment. along with laptops running upwards of like $3,000 nowadays

 You know you can unzip it, throw whatever crap you need to grab really quickly just because you don't wanna put it in the main compartment because stuff can kind of go to the bottom and it will get too in a second. And what I really like about it is the zipper on it. That thing is super heavy-duty I really don't know how you can break it and I know how you guys all know that once the zipper goes, it kind of the bag falls apart. so Topos done a really good job of putting like a really beefy zipper

 Here you got that nice topo bright, yellow inside really lights up the bag, so you can really see what's at the bottom, so you don't lose anything and then at the top we have another quick grab pocket here. This one kind of goes over the top of the bag, depending on how much you have it packed out. If you got these tightened down more, it's gon na lay a little bit flatter here, so you can have more access to it. Otherwise, it'll kind of be behind the back your neck, which is you know, not a bad spot for a more safety conscious people just so it's harder to get into it, while you're wearing it

 Then you're gon na have on the classic, and it's just got like a kind of like slick feel to it. So the water should bounce right off of that. But again as with all these the same sort of organization, you have you know the stretchy water bottle pockets and compression straps, although they are metal on this one. But it's all sort of the same and then in this middle pocket

 One and two, and then a small, a couple, little loops in front of that. If you want to like clip your keys to one of these just so they don't fall to the bottom of your pocket and then yeah. We have a couple smaller loops here on this other side, so a little bit of organization they're still not too much kind of keeps that minimal style while still having that more luxury feel and the back panel and shoulder straps on these are noticeably by a large Margin much more comfortable, it's really more thick dense, padding all over versus just having this kind of more like mesh. You know crunchy material, this real thick foam and so you'll kind of notice

 So, just a nice little day pack, we don't really need too much. As you can see, we just have a some mesh padding here, not the thickest, not the densest, but it'll get the job done. Unless you really load this thing out, then you may be wishing it had a little bit more, but for normal day to day use these do just fine and then up top. We just have a little grab handle here
