I think Salomon outline are good and I have a pair. But the tongue of the shoe moves to the side because there is no tongue loop.

I think Salomon would be a good choice here if you're planning on running 70% or more of the time. as another commenter noted theyve been doing this for much longer and their fit is really dialed. I dont have any of their larger packs, but have used their 10l running vests in the past.

Very comfortable even when full and heavy. Waist pockets fit an iPhone easily. I use it for biking to work and for mountain hikes. Plenty of room. The side access zippers are my favourite feature. No need to dig through the whole pack to find stuff.

I got the Salomon Outbound Prism Gtx on sale this year, and think that it's a pretty amazing shoe for all purposes. Would recommend!

I really like this backpack, only negative design error is chest stripe. I do have quite large chest so if I breathe heavily when I hiking, stripe openly very easily if I try to keep stripe tight. Also stripe lock mechanism is both side (should be stationary one side).
