 Hey everyone, Mike here from Salomon Snowboards and this is the 22-23 Huck Knife.

 The Huck Knife is our premier park and freestyle board, ridden by the likes of Dusty Hendrickson,

 Sven Thorgan, Judd Henkes, Zach Hale, and many more.

 This board really does have superior handling on bigger jumps and transition, and it locks

 into rails really nicely thanks to a precise combination of flex pattern, camber load,

 The Huck Knife features a true twin shape and a medium flex paired with our quad camber.

 Quad camber is our most aggressive camber profile and our take on traditional camber.

 It features a mellower load between the feet for a more forgiving ride, with a more aggressive

 camber load outside of the insert packs for the classic snap, stability, and pop that

 you look for from a full cambered board.

It still has that predictable middle of the road park flex, so you do have slightly softer tips, stiffer through the middle with a fair amount of torsional flex. It's just a little stiffer in those tips, which kind of changes the stability. When you're actually charging around, you don't get as much chatter, which doesn't come back on your foot, so you're getting less leg fatigue at the end of the day

 There was warmer temps, zero wind, you had chopped chunder, slush, perfect corduroy, great hero snow, and I rode it with my Roam, Black Label bindings, and my K2 Thraxis boots. The big thing to note with this board is that they changed the stiffness. They gave it last year's Huck Knife Pro Flex, so that stiffens the board up overall. It still has that predictable middle of the road park flex, so you do have slightly softer tips, stiffer through the middle with a fair amount of torsional flex

 But overall, it's not a bad board when you're in the right snow conditions. I think if you're riding straight sheet ice, you may want to look at something else. So who's this board for? The park rider that likes a little snap out of their deck. So one of the things I like about this board is that they took the Huck Knife Pro Flex and put it in the regular Huck Knife

I think you really couldn't differentiate too much between the Huck Knife and Huck Knife Pro last year, and now you really can. But by stiffening it up, it gives it a little bit more power, a little bit more snap

The 2023 Salomon Huck Knife Snowboard Review

 Hello snowboarders of the internet! I'm your host, Averin LaFever, and in this video we're

 going to be reviewing the new Huck Knife from Salomon. That's right, got a little bit of

 an overhaul this year. This board features Salomon's quad camber, which is basically

 camber 2.0 with a very small rocker zone in the tip of the tail, so you get that load

 snap and pop of traditional camber underfoot, but you have this tiny little rocker zone

 that just elevates the contact points a little bit, so it takes away some of that edge bite

 that you might feel out there, as well as giving just like a tiny little flex point

 for pressing and playing around. This board is available in 148, 152, 155, 158, 162, 155

 width wide, and 158 wide. I rode this board at Copper Mountain on a sunny bluebird day.
