Have a look at the flight bag by Saddleback Leather. I’ve been carrying it about 6 months and am happy to chat about use and durability.

If there are any other pilots/aspiring pilots out there I've been in the market for a while now for the perfect edc for flying. Must be able to hold headset, laptop, iPad, notebooks etc. Also very particular about how it looks, every bag designed for pilots is so ugly its insane. Any recommendations? I like a couple from Topo, Mystery Ranch and go ruck but they're just not quite right

Best Aviation Bag?

 The top flap covers the briefcase well enough that I have no worries about rain getting in on days when I get soaked from the knees down. For more personal outings, the bag comfortably fits my 15' Macbook Pro with a sleeve. A quick note, I cannot see the 17" Macbook Pro fitting into the large bag and would think the 15" would have trouble fitting into the medium sized bag.  I can see why other reviewers rated this bag so highly

 As a software engineer I am used to the short lifespan of most technological products. It provides me comfort knowing that my money can still be spent on something that I should never have to replace.

Worthwhile investment

 So here let me open it. Real quick, like I said this is just an initial impressions. You can see a lot of people said that the straps were really stiff in their videos. I don't find that to be the case

 I did not buy it because everybody else on the block has got one, maybe like you do iPhone or the Samsung Galaxy Notes. All that kind of stuff or whatever the case is, I bought it because I'm I like leather, but I also I'm a Western kind of guy. I like watching westerns I've always been a John Wayne fan and things like that and some people are gon na say. That'S old-fashioned but hey, but if you notice and also if you've ever been in a horse, tackle attack shop and where they make leather saddles and the talent and the skill that it takes to

 I didn't open this for two days since I got it because I wanted to wait to do this review this video, so everybody's right as soon as you take it out of the box, you can smell it and I want you to look the color. The tobacco is absolutely gorgeous, it is it's more beautiful than I thought, and I tell you I did not buy this for status. I did not buy it because everybody else on the block has got one, maybe like you do iPhone or the Samsung Galaxy Notes. All that kind of stuff or whatever the case is, I bought it because I'm I like leather, but I also I'm a Western kind of guy

Saddleback Leather Front Pocket Briefcase

 My primary concern was that the bag would be too big given its 9" depth; however, the side pieces collapse some so it doesn't seem that large. And when you look at the interior space, it really doesn't come across as too big especially if you put a computer in there. I'm used to former bags having a zipper on them, and these will be missed since a buckle just takes more time. There's not a bear's chance in hell that I'm ever using buckles #2 and 3 unless I rob another gas station and need to run from local law enforcement while I'm carrying my briefcase

 They are handsome looking, however. A shortcoming of the bag if there is one: the shoulder strap is really heavy, at least a pound. Combine weight with stiffness, and you've got a strap that doesn't relocate anywhere convenient when you are moving it out of your way. I lump this into the category of "things you'll just learn to deal with and over time won't even notice

 It's extremely tough leather coming right out of the box, but I'm certain that it will give with time. Similarly, it very snugly fits my Lenovo W520 laptop with 15.4" screen when the computer is in a neoprene sleeve.

They should have built the Titanic out of this.

 I need to wear it down, but It's giving me hell keep all my notes in here Some of my business cards for work You never know when you're going to meet new people so The nice pigskin leather right here makes a nice and rugged Nice pen holder I have not chosen what to put here yet, but I will be choosing something very very soon So I have that I have my HP work laptop right there Now here goes the next part which the front pockets I keep these front pockets nice and packed Can't go home without it iPad charger Like I said, I'm on the road a lot, so I have a lot of extra chargers a car charger That I keep on me at all times Some more charging stuff I Have a Pair of headphones for the airplane Don't want to disturb my fellow people riding along with me some more cables Like I said, I keep it nice and packed down And then I have one of these audio adapters for when I'm in a rental cars Now let's go to the next pocket in the next pocket have a wireless mouse from a laptop We have one of these Stations to have multiple plugs see look what I like about this one is that it has these two right here So I just put this I connect my laptop and I connect all my peripherals to charge I have two phones I Have my iPad my computer. I can use these these are I think 2 2 amp and there are 5.1 amps or something like that so they charge my iPad. I just connect my My cable right there, and I'm able to use it Now We're going there Okay, so that's still this pocket, and you never know when you're going to need some more USB ports So I keep one of these handy just in case Now you turn it around we're able to look back here as you can see I have it in backpack mode right now And we'll go through that right now, but I'm using it for exactly what it's for I Have I'm an avid musician, so I keep my my musician Literature in case I want to buy some new instruments

I'm about five two five three and It fits me rather well I Carry like this sometimes you know when I'm going for short hauls But if I'm going for a long haul like through the airport. I like it I like it a lot now
