A 45-degree and 90-degree fibreglass weave keeps this board really torsionally soft, so you can get super creative with it. That doesn't mean it's going to feel loose through the turns, though. Rome have fitted this with bamboo stringers running from the inserts on the back foot out to the contact points on the tail

It's built around a heavy dose of backseat camber to give you all the response you're going to need on the piste, but the 3D rocker in the nose is what's going to launch this thing onto the surface, no matter how deep that snow gets. The board weighs next to nothing. That's down to the fact that they've chosen tougher, stronger, more durable wood, but combined that with hand-selected lighter weight sections of wood in the middle

Now Roam described the Ravine as an all-mountain charger with a freestyle-friendly flex and I think that perfectly sums it up actually. It's a long way off a park board obviously but there is more than enough tail to work with if you're riding a switch and the flex is also definitely on the more forgiving end of the spectrum at a 6 out of 10
