 I just never have put it on because I use this tent so much that I've just used those snap buckles along the sides Now compared to all of the other rooftop tents on the market. This rooftop tent has the best Road cover now you're gonna see some that are hard shell rooftop tents and then this fold out traditional if you will this whole rooftop tent thing is still relatively new, but I call them the traditional style of rooftop tents with the soft cover that goes over the top and it folds out this style Definitely the Rome has the best road cover because it's got that zipper that goes all the way around to keep it nice and dry in Bad conditions and also to keep you know moisture out of there There are a lot of bugs Also those snap buckles that don't go over the top. They're just along the sides keep the shape of The the road cover so it doesn't balloon up as you're going down the freeway Which almost every other this style rooftop tent does and that's a huge gripe of mine when you see that forerunner Passing you and it just looks like it's got this big balloon on top of it It's kind of funny, but the Rome has done a really good job at mitigating that by those snap buckles That go all the way around another really cool thing that i'll show you on the other side Is the fact that there is a little track on the side where this road cover actually slips into And that being said you can just toss the road cover over to this side And if you need what's on your bed rack or whatnot You can just roll this guy up And then you can tuck it away with these straps right here And then it just kind of sits right there. I've got my gas roto packs on this side So I really never need them

 vagabond rooftop tent in olive drab had it for about a year now, so it's time to do a

 Updated video on it. Stay tuned guys. Let's go

 Okay guys so about a year and a half ago

 I decided to go out and buy a relatively higher end rooftop tent because I had

 The Smittybilt rooftop tent and I got kind of tired of some of the lower end features of a lower end

 Rooftop tent so if you guys are new to rooftop tents rooftop tent is effectively a

 Giant roof top tent a tent that you put on your vehicle

 Six feet up in the air. It kind of keeps you off the ground keeps you away from bugs

 You know, it's quick deploying has a mattress inside of it. So you kind of get a lot more of the comforts of home

 In your camping experience, so it's it's pretty awesome. I've had a rooftop tent for about the last three years

 I've had multiple now and this is by far the one that I've had the longest and my favorite rooftop tent now

 There are a lot of rooftop tents on the market and let's be honest

 The majority of them are made in the same factory

 So I'm not going to go into the little here and there's about rooftop tents because they're all made effectively the same

 Some are just made with more higher end parts and some of them are not so the Rome

 Vagabond that I've got here is probably one of the ones on the higher end of the spectrum now

 The same quality that you get out of let's say an iCamper because that's a $3,500 rooftop tent pushing five grand

 Depending on which model you get this is a three ish person rooftop tent

 They actually say that you can pretty much put whatever you want in there as long as it is well-supported and

 The the bottom insulation or the bottom is all diamond plates. So that's why you saw me walking across the top

 Which enables it to be really quick deploying quick setup. You could see that I set it up in under two minutes

 I love this rooftop tent if I had to go back and buy another rooftop tent i'd buy this very same one

 Odie green is my favorite color the tent has held up really well in all types of weather
