Players Rogue2 vs Selkirk Amped S2

Players Rogue 2E (Played briefly. Seemed nice, but not worth switching). Paddletek Tempest Wave Pro (GREAT feel, but that grip shape - ugh).

If you're looking at Selkirk paddles, I'd recommend the Amped line (it's more power oriented than the standard Vanguard line), in the Invikta shape (which is their longer handle elongated shape, which I think will be better for you as a tennis player). Selkirk paddles all around have pretty great spin (particularly if you ever further upgrade to a Power Air or Labs paddle).

But no face texture, and dead spots made this a retired paddle in my bag after getting the Amped S2. Selkriks aren't my thing.

The only disappointing thing is that the grip wrapping at the butt of the handle was poorly applied and it overlapped. I will most likely re-grip the handle. I contacted the manufacturer's regarding their loose overlapping grip and their reply was lame. None of the other rackets I have looked at had this issues

I wish the surface had more 'grip' so that spin could be more aggressive. It is possible all these comments apply just for me; other buyers may find it perfect for their game. It is not a bad paddle as such, just did not deliver on spin and power for me.

This paddle is well balanced ,the weight is perfect for me. Awesome control with slam power available. I would highly recommend this paddle. Here in SW Florida we play year around outdoors

I am new to the game and did a lot of e search on line before I bought this paddle. Couldnt be happier! Just love the weight and feel. Handle is perfect! Saw the difference in playing the first time i used it!
