It's really solid. It feels really solid on both of my blocks. Sometimes what a control paddle lacks, this paddle doesn't have a problem with that

But no face texture, and dead spots made this a retired paddle in my bag after getting the Amped S2. Selkriks aren't my thing.

The paddle is average in my opinion. Power and spin are both average and did not match my expectations. Yes, I was biased by previous reviews that claimed significant power and spin. If you're looking at Selkirk paddles, I'd recommend the Amped line (it's more power oriented than the standard Vanguard line), in the Invikta shape (which is their longer handle elongated shape, which I think will be better for you as a tennis player). Selkirk paddles all around have pretty great spin (particularly if you ever further upgrade to a Power Air or Labs paddle).

Selkirk Amped. I have 2 of them, Invikta and the Omni, and love them. Great feel, very forgiving, and excellent defensive paddles. Very consistent contact across the whole face. My 2 cents

I have a bum wrist due to a break that healed as best it could. My hope was the vibration to my hand and wrist would be low with this paddle. It is comfortable to use and I think I will be happy with it. It’s heavier and has a larger grip than I would like but I have small hands.

Ex college table tennis player here. Now 4.5-5.0 pickleball player. I've tested 10+ paddles and the selkirk S2 Amped is still the best. For me, it's significantly better than their two newer generations, better than every gearbox, better than every prokennex.

Need exchange elongated paddle for regular selkirk never used. Have box etc….Plus need exchange paddle cover. Need return instructions. Thanks
