 Today, we're going to take a look at the PK360. So I wanted to give a quick overview of the PK360. Now, Post Smoke BBQ have imported these from the States where they've been very popular since around 1950, 1952. So they've been around for a fair few years over in America and they are a very popular grill and they look absolutely beautiful

 It's not going to bow. It's not going to break. So very sturdy and lots of room there on the shelves to either prepare food or get food out or serve food up or slice food. Many possibilities

 Now one of the main features on here is the fact that it features four vents, which are going to give you extra control when you're cooking and when you're trying to maintain your temperatures. You've got your two at the top here and you've also got two down the front here. Now the good thing about four vents is you've got better control over the cook chamber. So if you have this vent open, for example, this one closed and this one open, your heat and your smoke is going to come up through here, then it's going to go out towards the other vent, which is going to go over your food and it's going to give it all that lovely, delicious smoky flavor that I'm sure you're after

 I mean, a lot of grills that you get, they might have a side shelf, but it's pretty useless to be honest. This, you're going to be able to put most things on and it's not going to cause any damage. It's not going to bow. It's not going to break

 If you are using the entire grill space for hot cooking, it will hold two chimneys of coals.  Because the PK360 has two top and two bottom vents and an accurate grill-level thermometer it is the king of two-zone cooking.  Because of the oval shape of the PK360, we had plenty of room to baste the wings over indirect heat without having to worry about flare ups. Four point venting also allows you to fine tune temperature zones when using direct heat across the whole grill. We set the left vents wide open to sear these T-bones and open the right vents about midway to roast the vegetables. When you want to create the same temperature across the whole surface of the grill, setting all four vents to the same air flow works really well to create even heat

 PK claims to have a amazing warranty but there's a reason they don't accept real reviews on their website. Customer service says "we can't control the exposed environment", how about saying we slapped on a really crummy coat of paint or powder coat and don't care what they look like for the customer within a year of use. Super bummed by a US company having such horrible support and QC. Strong avoid on this one

For the next 18 months, I struggled with smoker mods, changes in my technique, fuel types/brands and etc. Feeling completely defeated, I finally reached the pinnacle of frustration and gave up smoking all together for months. So anyway, I was looking for a smoker and I've had Weber grills in the past and I really loved them and I thought I'm gonna check out this Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker because it had insanely high reviews I believe somewhere around like 1800 reviews on Amazon with nearly a perfect five star rating which you really don't see too often. Weber grills that I've had in the past were it's weird, like they just have an X Factor I don't know what it is that the reason, but food just tastes better when it's grilled in a Weber I've had Charles I've had a lot of other ones and it just I always keep going back to Weber grills because the food just tastes better I don't know really how to explain it. either it's their design or whatever it is, it just does
