 So that's probably worth about half a club for your average player. Now Bob Watson swings this about 118 miles an hour and he gained two miles an hour because he's obviously swinging the club a little bit faster, therefore there's more benefit from the Turbulators. Now if you are an average amateur you're probably going to gain about three quarters of a mile an hour but even so it still is a gain and it's great to see a technology come along which actually improves the dynamics of the club and the performance of the club. So well done Ping for that

 By specifically lengthening certain clubs and tweaking lofts, they feel that they now have a set of clubs that will offer clear distance gaps all the way through the bag. It's very easy and you see it in a lot of amateur bags, Ping say they see this a lot when they're doing fittings, is that four, five, six irons all go very similar distances. This is just a waste of clubs in the bag, you might as well not carry as many. What they've done here, and I'm testing them out at Broadway Golf Club here today on the course and on the driving range, there's very clear distance gaps between all the clubs

I really love PING drivers and this one's not really kind of, I don't know, excited me that much. However, I want to give it a test to see how it performs on GC quad with Pro V1s and out on the golf course to see how much of an influence this new driver actually has compared to last year's model

 I almost feel like with this new adjustable weight that could have almost been done in just one driver this year. There could have been a port up front here where that adjustable weight could have been moved to the front for an LS tech version.
