OK here goes  - I have found that the Zebra LV gel refills fit the Pilot Dr Grip perfectly.  I prefer the Zebra refills

I bought a TiScribe Bolt V2. It currently has a Pilot G2. Here is a list of compatible refills from the website:

Need help identifying what style of refills my pen uses

I bought this pen for ergonomics. It meets the claims of being comfortable with perfectly distributed weight, but I do wish it had a bit more of it. As a personal preference, I like a bit of heft.  The tip glides smoothly and writes well at an angle to about 45 degrees, which is what one can expect from a ballpoint pen

The best so far, and the cheapest too!?

Parker Quinkflow - Hybrid ink that is friendly with all paper types, including receipt paper (stays in my pocket carry). Writes very smooth, rarely skips or blobs and available at every office supply store I have ever been too.

 Fit and finish are superb. Deep carry clip and "J" shaped bolt channel. Groves are machined around the barrel to give grip.  Currently sold out of the cheaper ones, but well worth the extra money and wait

[Ystudio Ballpoint]([URL REMOVED] Ystudio ballpoint in black is a hefty little guy. As an all brass pen the weight feels fantastic. The deployment mechanism is a push and twist, which can get a little annoying, especially if the thread doesn’t catch on the first attempt. The main downside of this pen is that because the way the mechanism functions it does not accept the Uni SXR-600 parker-style refills, but I make due with the Schmidt EasyFlow 9000
