 The dual linear rails seem chunky and firm. The appearance and width alone suggest stability. There's certainly no wobble here that I've seen. The bull plate also seems chunky

 And I know, right now, many of you will be screaming at me, how does it compare with the Anycubic Photon Ultra DLP? But all I can say at this moment in time is, well, that's not an easy call to make. I need more time to compare for you guys and I will do that. However, regardless of that outcome, I have to say that this is the best printing LCD printer I have personally come across, able to produce excellent quality prints on a home grade printer. In essence it's a real winner and a new standard for others to attain

 And this, in essence, should mean the best quality prints we've seen at this end of the printer market. So I was genuinely excited to get printing with the Mini 8K, but fate had other ideas. When I performed the LCD test, something didn't look right. Adding a piece of paper made this even worse and broke my little nerdy heart

 And first impressions are very good. It's a nice sturdy looking printer. The base is quite weighty and solid. The menu screen isn't the biggest I've seen, but it's far from the smallest and it's clear and easy to use

Filaments PLA and PETG are the easiest to use for beginners. PETG is more durable than PLA for the most part so try that.

I repair old electronics for fun, but I find broken parts often. I'd like to know a material type and printer that could print strong replacements pieces. For example, I have a Dreamcast controller with two broken triggers, if I could print replacements, that would be awesome.

Print quality was very similar to the previous model's: uniformly above average, with only minor blemishes, most commonly an occasional and easily removed tail of loose filament. The MK3S+ did well with fine detail and in handling overhangs.
