 It's just the same nylon ripstop the denier very deep again Nice deep pockets zippered The only thing I will say about the pockets is kind of like the nuptcy When you put stuff on the inside it all falls right into the same spot so it can get kind of bulky That's the only downside. I wish the inner pockets on the inside were up a little bit higher on the chest So yeah, take a look and see how it fits It doesn't look snug But it's definitely as snug as I would have wanted the coat to be I just was able to wear the hoodie Under this so if I could do it again, I'll go a size up Again, I'm 6 feet tall 42 chest 31 waist 180 ish pounds So for anybody around my size consider that it does have an elastic waistband Doesn't have carabiners to adjust the size So the fit is just gonna be one standard fit for each size not so short your belly buttons not gonna pop out But it fits fits to size I just should have got a large Just to give me a little extra space Good length on the on the arms there and it also does come with the elastic wrist on the arm there to keep wind and water just kind of keep a nice seal on the arm and Right around here is where the tightness is when you raise your arms and around my chest and underneath the arm So when you're moving and stretching up like that, you can definitely feel tension around the seams there it's very it's very tight and Finally, this is the hoodie There is a jacket version without a hood But I would recommend if you do want to buy this to get the one with the hood It just makes sense to have a coder jacket with the hood you can get it Yeah, the long-lost Teletubby there I am. So there we have it the Micropuff hoodie All right, so what's the final review on this jacket my review is kind of twofold First part I'm gonna say yes the Patagonia Micropuff jacket is worth it For the certain person the hiker the camper the outdoorsman The price point of this jacket is very very high And it's high because of all the features and specs as I mentioned in the video The pluma fill the fact that it's light yet super warm water-resistant windproof packable all of these things breathable all of these things make it a amazing value for that certain person So if you are a hiker if you are a camper if you're an outdoors type person outdoors He's gonna find yourself hiking through trails and mountains This jacket is definitely with the money. It does everything and it lives up to everything Patagonia says I I was actually really impressed Part B of this if you are not that type of person if you're just the average person trying to buy the jacket for its Fashion purposes Patagonia popular brand you want to kind of be fashionable I think there's better value out there for you in other types of spring or fall coats I don't think you spend 250 $300 on this jacket just for fashion purposes But yeah other than that that's my opinion

 You can't get it wet It will repel and get water off of you And the cool thing about the the pluma fill is that if it gets wet? It will still stay warm unlike down if you get down soaked or wet It will kind of lose its ability to keep you warm so another benefit of this jacket is if the pluma fill does get wet if you do by accident get caught out in a Situation where you kind of get soaked you will still be able to stay warm And finally it is windproof, which is very important for me in this video because as you can see I am wearing a hoodie underneath of this jacket because unfortunately it was really cold Today in this video and if it wasn't for this hoodie I probably would not have been able to get away with just wearing this jacket So pairing this outer shell which is windproof with the the great warmth of the pluma fill and my own body heat Being able to be retained in this jacket, which I will say is another amazing feature of this jacket If you are sweating or you have any body heat radiating from you This jacket is really gonna do an amazing job of retaining Your your body heat within the jacket and keep it from escaping which really was huge and keeping me warm throughout I was able to get away wearing a spring or fall kind of trekking jacket in minus 10 or 15 degree weather All right. So here he is. Oh, yeah, really nice serviceable inside pockets There are zippered pockets on the outer. They are not lines

The Warmest Jacket Ever? Patagonia Micro Puff Hoody - Full Review (In the Winter)

 Thank you for tuning in to another video today. We are going to be focusing on the Patagonia

 This is touted as a seasonal transitionary apparel kind of like a fall into winter or coming from winter into spring

 Patagonia has claimed this jacket to be the warmest jacket

 They've ever made in terms of warmth to weight ratio and the reason that's important is because the weight of this coat is

 Virtually nothing and this is definitely the lightest coat that I've ever worn

 When I put it on it almost feels like I'm not wearing a jacket. It's like a t-shirt or a second skin

 Yeah, so I thought to myself being it was one of the coldest days for me a few days ago up here

 And if it could get me through one of the coldest days of the year this winter for me this coat

 Definitely will be able to get any of you through anything

 You need to get through in the spring or the fall and yeah

 So basically this video is gonna be three parts first parts gonna be specs of the coat

 Second part of the video is gonna be fit of the coat on

 Myself and the third part and final part of the video is gonna be my review of the jacket and whether or not I think

 You should spend your hard-earned money on the Patagonia Micropup jacket

 This coat definitely surprised me. I think it might surprise you guys too. So without wasting any more time

 so I'll start off by repeating that this is the best warmth for weight ratio of any jacket that

 Patagonia has ever made and the reason I found that really interesting is because in your traditional

 Downfilled jackets the higher the fill power that obviously means the more warm the coat or jackets gonna be whether that's 500 fill power

 700 or 900 the higher the number the better the quality which should equal better warmth

 If there's more of it, it's gonna be warmer if there's less of it. It's going to be less warm

 So in total this jacket is 227 grams or 18 ounces in weight and the amount of pluma fill

 Which basically is a synthetic but it replicates the structure of down. There's only 65 grams of it in the total

 227 grams so that makes it really impressive that it's this warm

 Material and how little pluma fill is inside of the coat and also overall just how light the entire coat is

 Period the outer shell material is made out of 10 denier nylon

 It's a very very soft delicate thin material and unfortunately would probably rip very easily

 But luckily it is made out of nylon ripstop, which will allow that if you do get a tear in it

 It's not just gonna continue to rip and thread the entire way

 So although thin it is made of ripstop. The shell is also water repellent slash resistant

 So it's not waterproof, but it's kind of in the middle ground. You can't get it wet

 And the cool thing about the the pluma fill is that if it gets wet?

 It will still stay warm unlike down if you get down soaked or wet

 It will kind of lose its ability to keep you warm

 so another benefit of this jacket is if the pluma fill does get wet if you do by accident get caught out in a

 Situation where you kind of get soaked you will still be able to stay warm

 And finally it is windproof, which is very important for me in this video because as you can see

 I am wearing a hoodie underneath of this jacket because unfortunately it was really cold

 Today in this video and if it wasn't for this hoodie

 I probably would not have been able to get away with just wearing this jacket

 So pairing this outer shell which is windproof with the the great warmth of the pluma fill and my own body heat
