A Sophisticated Notion

  I can’t say this is going to be a comfortable bra to wear. It’s itchy lace and it pokes around the cups. But I was looking for something in particular and this fits the bill. Cute to look at, just one I’m gonna want to tear off as soon as humanly possible

It took me awhile to get the size right - these fit very differently from any other bra in my wardrobe. In the end I had to buy a size up on the band (which was still a bit small but it was all that was available) and the same cup size I normally wear.  I can’t say this is going to be a comfortable bra to wear. It’s itchy lace and it pokes around the cups

 The fabric, as I said, is a little bit stiffer, but I have a feeling that, like my experience with the Panache Jasmine, that all it's going to take is a couple good washes to get rid of that starch, and it'll be more comfortable. I love the print that they used. I think it's very cute. It has almost like a 50s pin-up vibe to me, I think, with the little swallows and then the red and the white-blue, and it has this beautiful little piece of ribbon detailing at the top

When I saw this one, what drew me to it was the very unique print, and I did love the red, white, and blue color palette. Now a lot of times with Panache, I find that I need somewhere between a 30 double H and a 30J, so I ordered the 30 double H, and the fit is okay

 But overall, I wasn't really liking it as much because I felt like, first off, the wires are sitting very far back. One of my complaints I had with the Marcy bra that I also reviewed was that I felt like the wires were going way too far back on my sides here, which you can see is the case again. They're sitting very far back. But then I'm also not crazy about the cup shape

 The cobalt blue really pops. I think it's one of those colors that looks good across the skin tones. The kind of sheer quality of the lace and the mesh is really simplistic but also very interesting from an aesthetic point of view. I love that they carried the little lace down onto here

 I love the overall look and shape of this. I think long lines are super cute, but they're also very practical and comfortable for me. I stand on my feet all day. I'm usually moving around, and for me, the more hook and eye closures in the back of the bra, the better

 It's in this gorgeous violet shade and It's just so pretty I'm obsessed with it So the bra is covered with this really pretty lace it's got a gorgeous mesh at the top and of course It's long line so you've got a Navy elastic band that runs along the bottom and the lace just kind of goes over the top of that and It's such a good fitting bra like and it looks like a pretty bralette which sometimes doesn't have the support that you need But this one definitely does it goes up to a J cup and honestly. I'm obsessed with it I just love the color I'm such a I love a bright color or a black bra in my wardrobe and I know some people are kind of bright colors are neutrals, but I'm a definitely a bit of both and This is gonna look amazing with a party season outfits. This has a glitter a really nice glitter Strap to it as well So I feel like they've just thought about every detail of this bra and just made it really pretty so the matching briefs go perfectly with the bra and They have the lace panel just in the center and the mesh at the sides and now I actually sized up with these briefs I got 16 and in my other briefs I've got 14 so you might want to look at sizing up because these are a perfect fit for me and the back of them Is just a plain a plain mesh as well and really love the fit of these they go really nice with the bra So in terms of outfit styling I've gone for I've got a bit extra I've gone head to toe purple with this one and I've got some super high-waisted tailored trousers from ASOS I actually sized down with these because I think they're meant to be a bit of a relaxed Baggy fit but I prefer them a bit more fitted So I've gone for a size 12 in these when usually I'd be between a 14 and a 16 and they've got a paper bag Waist so they come up really high which is really good and it makes me feel quite comfortable because I don't have too much skin On show with the bra with it now Sometimes I like to cover my arms up if I'm going out in a bra like I just feel a bit better in it And so I've actually got this satin snake print shirt, which again is purple It goes amazing with the head to toe purple outfit but alternatively because of the navy details on the bra you could just go with navy and kind of Make it a little bit more neutral if you're not as out there So let me know in the comments what you thought of today's outfit and today's bra set Head to Belle Lingerie if you want to find the Piper bralette.  When I first got the bra I was actually a little concerned that I would be comfortable in it because the fabric was very stiff it bordered on being a little scratchy and I actually wore the bra before washing it and that first time of wear was a little uncomfortable. It did start to experience a little bit of chafing because that fabric was so stiff however after I've watched it the first time it felt so much better now that I've watched it a couple more times after that it's really gotten to be very comfortable very supportive fit that doesn't feel like it's chafing or rubbing anymore. So I would suggest that if you do get this bra it would probably behoove you to actually wash it and wash it well before you even wear it the first time. There's just a lot of starch on that material

 The straps are really restricted stretch so they feel very comfortable sitting on my shoulders and overall I just really like the fit of this bra. As for the materials I want to make a quick note that the fabric cup here on the side on the bottom is gorgeous I love the bird print mixed with the bamboo shoots and grasses I think it's very unique and I think the Asian influence and the overall design is right on trend for what we've been seeing with lingerie. In fact I feel like this is a darker version of the upcoming Freya Just Flew In which works better for me because I prefer to have darker bras. But panache heavily starched this fabric

 The fit of the bra though is fantastic. First off I love that the firm band stays very anchored to the body and it feels very supported on the side. The underwire is not too wide, sometimes panache underwires can be too wide set for me but that's not the case. The center gore actually sits I think a little lower than the Andora as well as the top of the cups, that's a little lower too

 The band in the wing material is very firm as I mentioned so it gives a lot of good anchorage and side support and I feel very comfortable. It also has three hook and eye closures in the back which is what I prefer with a bra. I feel like I just get a little more support in the back and on the sides plus it's a more comfortable fit for me. And the design itself is fantastic

Try something unlined that doesn't have molded cups to start with - it will help get a better idea of your size/shape. I really like the brand, I think they do cater to fuller busts really well and today I'm going to be reviewing the Jasmine Balcony bra and it's in this really pretty leopard print and it's one of their new prints for winter and I absolutely loved it

 I know that sounds so weird but when I put this bra on I was like wow like this bra really lifts my ribs and like just puts them in a really good place. So this bra definitely ticks the box on looks and fit wise. Now I have like tried and tested it and I would say if you are kind of bothered about wires and are particularly sensitive to wires, this specific bra might not be amazing for you just because I found that it is quite a, if I need to like take it off at the end of the day that kind of bra but I can't deny the fact that it's one of my best fitting bras if that makes sense. So I kind of think it's worth it to wear it just for the fit but if you're after a really really comfortable bra I wouldn't go for this one

 My go-to everyday bra for now is the Fantasie Illusion in 30H, because it's the only one that doesn't hurt me, it just looks weird. I also really dislike lace, as it irritates my skin and looks bad with most t-shirts, but of course this is not the number one priority.
