The stainless steel blade is supposed to move forwards and in rivers for even blending the all-metal drive is generally more durable than plastic drives. Toaster offers a 10 year warranty on the all-metal drive, a 24 ounce blender cup and lid are included with this unit

 That means the unit is ready to use when you first get the unit wash the removable parts and warm soapy water and dry to put the unit together place. The sealing ring over the blade make sure to push the ring in and it will go into the slots on the side screw it onto the jar clockwise. It makes sure it's tight, the jar simply sits in the base and after you're done blending, it pulls straight up. There'S no two staying turning, locking, unlocking nothing just simple up-and-down to use the smoothy cop

Oster Pro 1200 Blender Review

  For the refurb price it was OK. At full price, especially compared to a decent blender (even a 450 watt one), I'd feel robbed.  (I also can't resist pointing out the absurdity of the "nutrient extraction" claim. Hey, if it EXTRACTS the nutrients, I don' want to use it

 1) I think the blades have begun to dull slightly; it seems to take a bit longer to get the smoothness I had been getting. 2) While I still prefer a glass jar to a plastic jar hands down, the first jar broke when a dish fell on it (see below) and the replacement I got now has chipped at the spout. I'm not sure how/where that happened. I don't *think* I'm especially hard on things, and I am careful loading the dishwasher, but it does make me wonder if there's an issue with the glass

 That said, I still don't think this blender is worth full price, but I do appreciate the customer service.  END NINJA REVIEW

  Because of the depth needed for the blade assembly, the 24 oz cup isn't 24 oz. This may be my biggest complaint. I use spinach or greens blends and other veggies in my smoothies, and even tamped down they take up room. By the time I add the fruit, yogurt, nuts, etc, I'm pretty much out of room

I bought this blender because my Oster blender has the smaller glass jar and is difficult to remove food with my spatula without it getting stuck on the blades. Also, the narrower bottom makes it difficult to blend thicker items. I was not disappointed! At first, I made almond milk on the milkshake setting, but there were pieces of almonds left. The best blender for the price!!!

We've had this blender since May 2019. The blender gets used almost daily and has held up well so far. No complaints there. But, sweet mother of God, the food processor attachment is the absolute worst piece of garbage I've seen on a consumer product in a while

 The blade turns a little, but obviously not enough to process anything. Oster is using cheap plastic gears that seem to only have one use. This was Mothers Day gift and I paid extra money for the food processor attachment. I'm upset because it feels like I've been robbed

 I found that it works very well. It is not a Vitamix or Blendtec, but it is pretty close for a quarter of the cost at ninety dollars. So so I highly recommend that you get this device.  I figured this out. I had to do that on my old one, but not on this one and turn it on, and I'm just going to hit this green frozen smoothies button here, it's next to the food chop and then they have milkshakes and a low medium high pulse and then Stop I'd ever wanted to go over the buttons here, but yeah. This is a green frozen smoothie. So I'm gon na click that this is a [ Music, ], [, Music, ], [, Laughter, ], [, Music, ], all right it does that automatically

 This is the Triton jar that they have so, as you can see here, it's a nice, hard plastic, nice blades inside four blades, well, two out sides and then two actually six blades cuz two on the bottom.  I did also ad about a half cup of milk. I used the "smoothie" setting and all this did was make the smoothie stuck at the bottom. I felt as if the motor was going to burn since the blades were stuck at the bottom and not even moving the liquid around. This blender has so much power, I even used the high setting and boy that couldn't even get through that

I was actually disappointed since I manually stirred it at least three separate times between blending and it finally worked. It has a nice design, great features but when it comes to smoothies that as especially thick this will not do the job

 I have had blenders in my days; single cup blenders, mini blenders, regular blender from Walmart and so on. I was so happy that Oster came out with a quality blender like this. I am a fan of smoothies, milkshakes and so on. It is also convenient that the smoothie cup comes with it

Nice but but lacking

  I also liked the bonus mini juice blender that it came with it.  Love the smart settings technology for smoothies, salsa and shakes.  It even shuts off automatically.  Only 2 issues I had was 1

Bought this about 4 months ago and was in need of both a blender and food processor.  When I saw this item showing it had both blender and processor I was in aahhh and had to get it.  I also liked the bonus mini juice blender that it came with it.  Love the smart settings technology for smoothies, salsa and shakes

Great blender/food processor

 Even those machines had to have a thawing period for frozen fruit, had to have a liquid in them along with the ice and other ingredients to make smoothies and Frappacinos. They are indeed workhorses, but i don't need a workhorse like that at home. This blender is enough for me. It performs like a Vitamix

 I chose to return it promptly because 1. it had these blades that looked cheap and so much molded plastic everywhere. 2. the spindles were too loose

  After comparing many reviews and weeding through the hype and learning how the commercial blenders work I decided to search for something that shared those qualities, all Metal Drive, Reverse action, lots of power for home use and a glass or stainless steel blending pitcher to reduce exposure to estrogenic plastics and reduce the cost of replacement parts. on Ebay I learned that the old trusty Vitamix's of the 90s had stainless steel pitchers and an average wattage of 850. If 850 watts was all a commercial business needed then that's all I need at home. I won't be making 100 smoothies a day like the Vitamix would be expected to do
