 Don't confuse this with thinning hair. Mine is the kind that if there's no hair gel in it, it flops around in the slightest breeze. If I had to guess the length of my hair at the time of cutting it, it was 1 1/2" at the shortest but more probably 2" long. The problem is that as I ran the clippers through my hair, my hair would just fall down and not get cut

 I decided to go with these because as one reviewer mentioned, the Classic 76 was a bit big and heavy which made it difficult to cut your own hair, which is what I was planning on doing. I received the clippers and the 10-piece recommended comb set and ran to the bathroom to get to work. I put on the 1 1/4" comb and got to work. I ran it through my hair, but there was no sound of cutting

 The button is incredibly stiff. I often give up trying to press it with one hand, and use my other hand to press it because my thumb isn't strong enough. This isn't a deal breaker, but my dog is already incredibly unhappy I'm cutting his hair, and I don't want to let go of my dog to turn the clippers on or off (which I prefer doing to let him calm down during the paw shaving).  2

I purchased this product base on it advertises for small and big dogs. I had to return it because the clipper is quite large for my dogs and the noise level is loud enough to scare them. I believe this product would work well for medium and large dogs. Will try something else that will fit my need
