Omega VSJ843 vs Omega VSJ843QR

I have an Omega VSJ843 and I love it. It’s so easy to clean and you don’t have to chop food up too small. It’s also very efficient and has been shown to extract more juice than others in some side by side comparisons.

The cleaning tool provide has two ends to greatly assist with that or your finger! The pulp for most items is relatively bland with little to no juice left. If you follow the proper sequence of alternating hard and soft produce, nothing should stick in the feed shoot. However there is a reverse button and a pusher if you need additional help. NEVER put your fingers or any other utensil down the shoot to force items through!! All in all I'm happy with this purchase

Being an engineer by training, I did extensive research on which juicer to buy. I'd like to share why I chose this one, and it's pros and cons -- so that I can hopefully save some of you some time. My two biggest criteria for selection were: #1- The juicer had to extract the MAXIMUM JUICE from the food, and #2 - The juice had to be EASY TO CLEAN. I figured that if the juicer was not easy to clean, I would not use it

The result is a better juice than I got with the centrifuge type. More juice and less wet pulp. So far so good. I will update in a month or so to see if I am still as happy maybe put another star or take a star away

So what i like the most about this juicer is that it's not pulpy, really, it's literally just a extract of the juices. It's so good. I really like it....

I have been juicing centrifuge for over 40 yrs and I am healthy. I have a $600 Champion masticating do not use it 4 same reason as this juicer I returned.

Now only two months later the juicer is broken and in a box, never to be used again, the seller only had a 30 day warranty. If you plan on using a juicer with any frequency, plan on buying another juicer and not from this seller. I had high hopes for this juicer only to be very, very disappointed in its acutal lack of performance. Save yourself the time and money and look for a horizontal auger type juicer, they last longer
