 Hi, today I'm going to be reviewing the Omega J8006 Nutrition Center Juicer. It's a masticating juicer, so it processes at a low speed of about 80 RPMs. This prevents oxidation, so you can store the juice in the fridge for about three days without it breaking down. The Omega is 8

 The Omega is not noisy, because its motor runs at a slower speed. The Omega is also pretty easy to clean up, because the pieces come apart so quickly. You can wash all the parts in hot soapy water, or in the top rack of your dishwasher. A cleaning brush is also included with the juicer

 So you can see the juice, and there's not that much foam on top. It's a very little amount of foam. It's less than the centrifugal juicers. So here is our nutrient-rich green juice

 OMG!!!  At this point I just want my money back.  The juicer isn't that great either, you can only do about three juices at a time because the fruit starts getting jammed and you have to wash all the parts to do a new one.  I don't recommend this machine!!! I hope I do get my money back.  I feel frustrated about all this happening!!!

The blank cone over rotates and plastic auger brakes twice in 5 times use

 So you can see now here with it in the sink obviously you've got to wash up your containers and the mesh but you've got to wash the pusher this kind of plate thing on the top and then the juicing components themselves so that end bit just screws off and inside you've got the juicing screen which pulls out like so and then just the auger piece inside as well. Everything here you can kind of just run through cold water and it rinses it off pretty well. The main juicing screen the thing that can get clogged up is this item here and you can see all the little holes there and you really need to get a brush through that. Something I forgot to show you at the beginning is that the juicer actually does come with this brush and you can get it in there and brush out all the little components inside the juicer but again the whole process juicing and washing up honestly only takes me about 15 minutes

 Would I recommend this juicer? Well I've already recommended it to three people all of whom have bought it and I've been really pleased with the results that they've had so it's a fantastic piece of kit. Like I say it's not the cheapest thing you can buy and the thought of having to buy this alongside a blender if you're on a healing journey does sound like a lot of money. I attribute a lot of my healing to the juicing regime that I've been able to have with this piece of kit. Like I say it does the greens and the greens are crucial

 Obviously this is the one I recommend because this is the one I've had I've done over a thousand juices with this juicer but there are others which I understand perhaps build quality isn't quite the same but they do the same job when it comes to simplicity and the efficiency in doing greens.  look up how long juicing shelf life is. look up other companies/brands and where they source their plastic and labor. all that being said, i found that the OMEGA J8006HDS was the best fit for me and my needs. the price is worth it too for the warranty - not every brand offers that warranty

 not too many knooks or cranies for food to get into, so pretty much you just rinse every piece and its good to go. fast cleaning.  do your research. look up differences btwn masticating and centrifugal

 The down side as far as this model goes is why I'm giving it 3 stars. The auger could be a little bit bigger so it can be more tightly pressed so the pulp wont come out so dang wet! If they ever redesign the auger for this model, I will definitely upgrade and keep it because cleaning this baby is such a breeze! BUT I hate that I had to send my pulp back through the machine because I know this can mess some juicers up. But I know the model and knew it could tk it. Plus if I had an issue with the pulp there's also a reverse button

 Just need to do something about that auger. I was looking at omegas commercial juicers. I'll try that next. I know that would be a better option for me as much as I love juicing!  The centrifugal juicers I've reviewed, like the Breville JE98XL or the 200XL, do a great job on hard fruits and vegetables, but not for leafy greens. And the centrifugal juicers are also noisy. The Omega is not noisy, because its motor runs at a slower speed. The Omega is also pretty easy to clean up, because the pieces come apart so quickly

 So here is our nutrient-rich green juice. The Omega J8006 is a very efficient juicer. It leaves very little waste and saves you money on expensive, fresh produce. It's also easy to clean up and is the quietest machine that I've used so far

 There were 4 of them that ranged from $150-$850. I really wanted to like the cheaper version due to price but after reading all the reviews, it seemed to have a shelf life of 6 months. With the Omega, the reviews that I saw were mostly great and the negative ones were biased on some issues that they had with the discontinued brand. I chose this one over the Breville which my friend has because mine seamed as if it was easier to clean and it certainly is
