I bought a bunch of NYX pencil eyeliners from this series, so I wanted to do a swatch of eye color once it arrived. I applied very very little pressure & I did it at an angle, but the tip already broke off!! It did this for Emerald & this Gold color, but it was fine for the Dusty Mauve. I guess it varies from pencil to pencil based on how it was manufactured and when? In general, the color came off nicely & it was very smooth to the touch.  I’m giving it 3 stars bc it reminds me of color pencils that keep breaking off even though you painstakingly sharpen it very carefully each time, only for it to fall apart at the lightest touch

This product was great the first few lines. It became streaky and runny after a few times applied. Not easy to create thin lines. Would improve this product by changing the brush tip to being more fine/a felt tip

 Between this and my waterproof mascara, like my makeup isn't going anywhere. You know, my little Shih Tzu eyes have finally met their match. Nothing is going on. My eyes can water and goop as much as they want and my eye makeup is going to stay where it is

 So I saw this and I had to try it. So just like the matte one that we tried a while ago, it is one of these sort of dippy nail polish brush kinds of applicators. I do believe they have an Epic eyeliner that is more like the felt tip pen but I don't believe that one mark is itself as waterproof. I find it interesting that this is the eye and body eyeliner

 So if you want to wear eyeliner and you're going to have a twilight marathon and you know you're going to ball your eyes out, this is the ideal eyeliner. I can't get over how waterproof it is. As much as I love that matte one, I'll never buy it again and I'll just buy this one because of how waterproof it is and because of how watery my eyes are. I just can't believe how waterproof this is

BUT the cons for me are this. It is a little costly and because of that I am VERY disappointed in the archaic mechanics of the pencil. It does not have a smudger or a sharpener AND the product takes A LOT of turns to roll up. When or IF it finally advances BE SURE you don't go too far because it will NOT retract back down

So. This Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner by Stila is ALMOST everything that I want in an eyeliner. It goes on smooth, it stays on, after a week of having and using it there is no drying out of the product or constant sharpening because of the product that is exposed doesnt transfer as well.

 Now I'm also just going to take some along the lower lash line and let's see how this blends out with a brush. So just picking up a small little angled blending brush. Yeah, it's weird it. it doesn't really blend, it just kind of comes off like you can kind of blend it a little bit, but not how I was hoping and expecting

 Stay all day last 12 hours like how long is like that is crazy. It is coming off and that is a quality that I feel like those inexpensive eyeliners don't do. Like they'll actually stay in place and you can rub your finger against it and nothing will budge. but in this case it is literally coming off

 Let's also see if it sticks in that water line for fun. Even though I don't wear eyeliner in my waterline, it is applying and sticking onto the waterline easily right away. Now I'm also just going to take some along the lower lash line and let's see how this blends out with a brush. So just picking up a small little angled blending brush

 I mean also it's like too intense for me. I feel like it closes my eye kind of. but on other people I do like that smoked out black eyeliner and it looks pretty cool being on the water line as well. It's just kind of more grungy than me and my style, but I mean my boyfriend's in a rock and roll band
