I bought this expecting a high pigment black and it is very lacking. I shook the liner up for several minutes trying to get that dark intensity everyone talks about and was left unimpressed.  I'm going to throw this way after this video and Yeah, that pretty much concludes this video I don't really know what else to say, but I will swatch this for you guys so I can show you how pigmented it is Sorry, my camera overheated when I was trying to swatch this for you guys So this is what it looks like and it is extremely fine It is extremely pigmented. You can use a light hand and it goes really thin or if you go really heavy You get a thicker line. But like I said, it's not so much the Whether it's shiny because I can get past that I can just add a little bit of black matte Eyeshadow on top of it and problem solved but the fact that this formula just starts bleeding and smudging everywhere That's where my only and my main concern comes from So I hope you guys enjoyed this really quick review and if you do have any drugstore favorite Marker eyeliner recommendations, please comment them below.  Welcome to my channel. In today's video, I want to do a really quick review on this product right here. This is the NYX Epic Ink Liner. They come in two different shades of black and a brown

 I just I just like that's just what I do. I like it and This product started bleeding and smudging everywhere when I tell you it was smudging to the point where it ruined My makeup. I had to wash my entire makeup off and restart it which is extremely frustrating So the product started smudging into my inner tear duct. It started smudging upwards into my Eyelid lines if that makes any sense and it started bleeding downwards It was actually getting places that the eyeliner should have never been to start off with So I did purchase this product a while ago and I completely forgot that I had it I thought maybe I just forgot about it and it was just one of those things where I was running low, so I filmed a tutorial for you guys, which is already up and I tried reaching for it again to do my eyeliner and it did the same exact thing so I had to go in with a different eyeliner and I had to try to stop it really fast and just add more eyeshadow to Kind of just stop all the issues that I was having and then try to fix it by going in with a thicker liner But if I can still find the clip, I'll show you guys what it looks like So I don't know if you can tell or if you can even see on camera But the eyeliner is literally bleeding upwards I'm not sure if maybe I got a bad batch or if this is how a lot of them are and nobody's just saying anything Or if that's how all of them are and nobody's saying anything But as far as what I recommend this absolutely not it It's probably one of the worst marker Eyeliners that I've ever tried and I have no intentions of purchasing again

 So as a primer today, I'm just wearing a painterly paint pot and then just some very neutral looking eyeshadows on top of that. So I think that's going to give it a fair shot. Let's go ahead and get this day started. After a full 12 hour here is what my eyeliner is looking like

 It's one of the more interesting displays that they have in the drugstore, so I've just been kind of going through and testing some stuff off, but I will take a break from NYX for a little while here and try out some other products. Overall, I would give this NYX eyeliner five out of five, especially considering it's brown, and generally I'm like biased against browns because I want that deep contrasty, but to me this is like perfectly where it's at

liner that doesn’t smudge for oily eyelids?

 The only issue is the brush starts to fray and leak after a few weeks, the liquid gets everywhere and starts to thicken the line a lot. I wanted to give this eyeliner the benefit of the doubt but after reading some reviews I realize I'm not the only one with this issue.

Excellent formula. Less than excellent brush

 I love KVD but it can be pricey sometimes. So I gave this liner a try. My pros for this liner is that it is very pigment. I will say it has more pigment then KVD

The price point for this eyeliner is pretty cool, but it isn't as good as, say Mac's black eyeliner pen equivalent. It stays on all day for sure if you're careful but I have found after awhile it will start to fade and smudge especially if it's a really humid day.  Sometimes the pen itself can be finicky too, either no ink will come out or it will suddenly be bleeding everywhere and I have to to blot up the ink with a tissue until it stops.  So I like it as a nice cheap eyeliner and it works for sure but I definitely have used better quality pens

BUT the cons for me are this. It is a little costly and because of that I am VERY disappointed in the archaic mechanics of the pencil. It does not have a smudger or a sharpener AND the product takes A LOT of turns to roll up. When or IF it finally advances BE SURE you don't go too far because it will NOT retract back down

So. This Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner by Stila is ALMOST everything that I want in an eyeliner. It goes on smooth, it stays on, after a week of having and using it there is no drying out of the product or constant sharpening because of the product that is exposed doesnt transfer as well.

 Now I'm also just going to take some along the lower lash line and let's see how this blends out with a brush. So just picking up a small little angled blending brush. Yeah, it's weird it. it doesn't really blend, it just kind of comes off like you can kind of blend it a little bit, but not how I was hoping and expecting

 Stay all day last 12 hours like how long is like that is crazy. It is coming off and that is a quality that I feel like those inexpensive eyeliners don't do. Like they'll actually stay in place and you can rub your finger against it and nothing will budge. but in this case it is literally coming off

 Let's also see if it sticks in that water line for fun. Even though I don't wear eyeliner in my waterline, it is applying and sticking onto the waterline easily right away.  I mean also it's like too intense for me. I feel like it closes my eye kind of. but on other people I do like that smoked out black eyeliner and it looks pretty cool being on the water line as well. It's just kind of more grungy than me and my style, but I mean my boyfriend's in a rock and roll band
