 Now I'm going to get through this methodology stuff as quickly as I can. We use a 3960X overclocked to 4 gigahertz, cooled by an H100, we use a P9X79 deluxe motherboard, we use an Antec Hi-Current Pro 1000 watt, a 128 gig SSD, and we use a variety of graphics cards, obviously for our testing. We're running on Windows 7 and we're running the latest beta drivers for both AMD and Nvidia. We run all graphics cards overclocked because overclocking is free, I guess if your time's not worth anything

 Now all of our games are not only being run at high resolutions but also at very high detail settings because, well, the justification for it is if you're going to spend $300 on a graphics card, you better be running at high details. In this one, we see what's going to become a recurring theme, and that is that memory bandwidth and memory amount seem to be holding back the 660 Ti and the GTX 680. This is something we did not observe in our 1080p benchmarks, so there is a very clear division where Titan and 780 are up here, 7970 and 7950 are here, and 680 and 660 Ti are trailing at the bottom. In Tomb Raider 2013, it really is men against boys with the Titan and the GTX 780 coming out on top, however, of course, they are priced much higher than the cards that they are now replacing from Nvidia's own lineup and the 7950 and 7970

 And yeah, again, if you're a Crysis 3 lover, then the 780 is definitely worth a look. It is a significantly more powerful GPU with its Titan DNA and really much closer to Titan performance than anything else. And of course, it's much lower price point compared to the GTX Titan.  Compared to the competition, Gigabyte priced this card very well. The WindForce cooler is a beast. The GTX 780 GPU normally runs quite hot, but when leaving the fans at auto, I only reached 77°C with this Gigabyte version. And believe it or not, I personally didn't notice any noise coming from the graphics card

 Bottom line though, Rtx 3070, it is what it is: Rtx 2080 Ti class performance at a much cheaper price point, give or take a few percentage points. overclocking though. now I didn't put a huge amount of time into this, and I don't profess to be any kind of overclocking expert, but on my sample, adding 150 megahertz to the core was an insta crash, but Plus 100 seemed okay and seemed to take core clocks to around 1.96 to 2

 By extension, this means that the cooling assembly need not be as elaborate, so we have the same design language, but the dual sided fan arrangement gives away to a more conventional dual axial fan setup. It's also a much much smaller card than the 3080. In fact, let's take a look at a three-way comparison between 3070, 2080, Ti, and 3080. Effectively, the more power hungry the card is, the bigger it gets, and 3070 is the smallest of the bunch with a form factor closer to the last gen 2070

 It's interesting to see that in raid faced applications, the Rtx 3070's relationship with Turing cards is a lot more stable than it is with rasterization, and I'd say puts it in a pretty good place overall, especially since basically all new Raid face titles coming with the multiplier effect of Dlss which can produce some remarkable results in all cases. By Battlefield 5, 3080 still delivers way more performance anything up to 40 odd percent 3080. It really is a beast, which leads me on to the wrap up at 500.3070 is great value, but curiously, with 3080, you're getting extra performance pretty much in line with the extra money you're paying

 The Cuda core has been revamped, but regardless, thanks to the eight nanometer process, you're still getting more of them. In Rtx. 3070 clocks are a touch higher, but the 3070 has to get the job done with a lot less memory bandwidth at its disposal, plus a reduction of 40 watts in power. Now, let's look at how efficient the new card is

00. I'm not worried about running the highest graphics/frame rate etc. but I would like to play games like fallout 4 as well as try out new games in the PC gaming world comfortably without immediately needing to upgrade or putting tons of stress on the system.

The RTX 3070... Hype or Flop?

Ryzen 5 3600 DDR 4 16gb 3000mhz Msi gaming plus b450 mobo  Yeah I'm pretty sure there is some bottlenecking but so far I haven't really noticed, price was good although not quite exact, rtx 3070 at MSRP usually fetch for 499 or 550 but I got mine at $599, not totally unreasonable but I couldn't pass up the deal it was the best I was gonna get, try looking for an rtx 3070 for lower than $650 (if you're lucky) I dare you..
