 You can really see that tail rise and what that does is allow you to wiggle around in that deeper snow, release that tail easier. It also reduces that radius just slightly in order to make you allow you to make quicker turns when you need to in bumps or trees. Who I would gear this 104 for is more of an advanced expert lady skier, someone that really wants high performance from a wider ski. It would be a great ski if you still wanted to ski on trail a little bit but mainly skiing off trail and in the powder

This is one of my favorite powder skis for those days that are a little bit denser out there. Because it has the metal in the construction you can really power through that denser powder

 It does have a single sheet of metal and unlike its old predecessors where it had two sheets, that reduced the weight and made it a little bit more approachable, making it less fatiguing throughout the day. Never takes away from the performance though, it's definitely still a powerful ski that can take you in the woods, powder and on piste. The biggest difference between this Santa Ana and the others in the series is the tip in the tail rocker. It still has that shovel tip that we have in all the other Santa Anas that allows that tip to go glide over crud, float over powder and really an easy turn on those groomed trails.
