(Finally, I thought I should mention that these drinks last for 8+ hours in normal room temperatures. It blends ice well. It is loud but this doesn't bother me. Would recommend but if had to buy again I would consider a different model, depending on price.

I would suggest to rinse out the blades assembly right after using it cause it would seem difficult to clean otherwise. Ninja You Crush it!

The blade turns a little, but obviously not enough to process anything. Oster is using cheap plastic gears that seem to only have one use. This was Mothers Day gift and I paid extra money for the food processor attachment. I'm upset because it feels like I've been robbed

I chose to return it promptly because 1. it had these blades that looked cheap and so much molded plastic everywhere. 2. the spindles were too loose

This thing is great for Smoothies and turns ice into snow literally. I took off 1 star because the 16 oz cups are too small to fit all my ingredients in. Thinking of going with the ninja pro because it has bigger cups.

I found that Ninja gives me the same results as a Vitamix blender for only a fraction of the cost. It's the perfect size for my smoothies and home made salad dressings. It blends thoroughly in 30 seconds. Other blenders leave small chunks of whatever I'm trying to blend

I was not disappointed! At first, I made almond milk on the milkshake setting, but there were pieces of almonds left. But when I tried making more almond milk on the high setting - perfect almond milk!!! Also, it makes thick sauces, almond butter, and blends things like kale, etc. that I could not do with my other one. This blender is fantastic! Also, Oster is the only blender in this price range that has a glass jar base that does not break on you! (see the pic) The cheap plastic parts of other blenders break by just pushing on them!!! And this blender is quieter - nice!!! And the glass jar is a bonus!!!! I would never buy a vitamix due to their plastic jars
