They’re high maintenance and you can’t break the blade apart to thoroughly clean it. We thought just washing it through after use is all good and air drying it. Unfortunately you need to carve the silicone under the crack where you attach the cup and if you don’t, mold central!!! I've researched and compared a few different models from nutri ninja and nutri bullet and had to return a couple myself. I found nutri ninja to be better. And this model I like because the big cup is the biggest I could find and perfect size. All the other model cups are just too small in my opinion to make a single serving smoothie, because the ingredients would barely fit

Bear this in mind if you want to store it on your kitchen counter, under cabinets; the taller one might not fit under yours. It's great and worth every penny!
