 But I don't want to sell this thing short because I also thought it sounded incredible on the electric, the acoustic and on singing. And this is definitely going to remain in my mic arsenal for whenever I record music in the future.  Greetings Earthlings, I'm back with a review of a go-to voiceover microphone. So today we're looking at this guy, the Neumann TLM103. And if you do want to pick this guy up, it'll set you back around $1100. I can't believe I spent that much money

 But I'll go ahead and throw some links down below in case you want to check it out. And for the majority of this review, I have the mic connected directly to the 2i2 second gen. Input gain set at around 10 o'clock or 1030. I'm not going to do any post-processing, EQ, compression, but I will likely boost it in post

 And then on the bottom, you'll find the XLR port. When it comes to the specs, this thing has a cardioid polar pattern, a frequency response of 20 hertz to 20 kilohertz, a sensitivity of approximately negative 33 decibels, an impedance of 50 ohms, a max SPL of 138 decibels, and a self noise of 7 dBA. That is so incredibly quiet. So now I'm spinning around the microphone to see what the off-axis coloration is at 90 degrees

Neumann TLM 103 Review Test

When I’m not mic’d up, I always push a lot more, because singing that soft feels tonally unbeautiful. But the level of thickness and clarity my Neumann gives my voice while I’m singing soft sounds so beautiful. Hearing it back so clearly in my headphones is the best monitor mix I’ve ever had for my voice, and it’s making me more solidified in my vocal confidence.

Not everyone needs multiple cardioid patterns and a pile of features. If you&rsquo;re willing to work with the best budget gaming microphone, the Razer Seiren Mini delivers, and in a variety of colors that&rsquo;ll add some fun to your setup. 
The Seiren Mini is currently just $50 (opens in new tab), and it packs sound quality that rivals its close competitor, the Blue Snowball iCE. But Razer&rsquo;s best budget gaming mic sounds more dry and flat,  which should be pleasing to those who prefer less artificial sounding output. You can&rsquo;t get better sound quality at this price.
You will, however, be stuck with a supercardioid polar pattern only, while others on this list offer multiple options. Also, features here are almost non-existent. There isn&rsquo;t even a mute button or headphone jack (for a budget option with mute, consider the HyperX SoloCast). 
Still, the Seiren Mini is cute, portable and offers simple, quality audio.

 For the sake of doing this review and for this review, i have the microphone connected directly to my mac. My input gain is set at around 60 percent and i will not do any kind of post processing to the audio, but i may boost it a little bit in post so check the doobly-doo to see what i didily did and now. Let'S talk about what comes in the box, it's it's i'm getting too good at this, i'm getting too good at this major leagues. Call me, of course, you are going to get the microphone you'll get the desktop microphone stand with this little extension to it

 If you play the polar pattern correctly and place those loud sound sources at 135 degrees on the microphone. Additionally, the small form factor of this thing makes it very easy to forget that it's there and that's going to appeal to those who really don't want a microphone shoved in their face. And lastly, this microphone is incredibly affordable for the sound quality that you're getting and then in terms of cons. My main gripe is the fact that there is no headphone jack, meaning there's no way to get zero, latency monitoring and monitor the audio that you're getting out of the microphone

 The reason i'm saying that first off it's affordable. Secondly, it is incredibly easy to set up you don't have to download some software like blue, you just plug it in you, set your levels and you're good to go and for the price. It is a surprisingly good sounding microphone. It does fairly good at background noise

Razer Seiren Mini Mic Review / Test (Compared to Seiren X, Snowball, NT-USB Mini, Yeti Nano)

 For more money, meanwhile, we&rsquo;re fans of the Blue Yeti Nano and the Shure MV5, both of which offer more features and options, albeit for twice the price of the Seiren Mini.

There&rsquo;s a wide selection of good USB microphones available, but it&rsquo;s safe to say that when you dip below the $50 line, the number of quality choices begins to dwindle. The Razer Seiren Mini, priced at $49.99, aims to be one of the few super-affordable options worth recommending&mdash;the leader of the pack being the $50 Blue Snowball Ice. Like the Snowball Ice, the Seiren Mini lacks DSP (digital signal processing) and has no gain knob or headphone jack

 Also, the manual claims that the Seiren Mini is only compatible with Windows 7 or higher, with no mention of macOS. But we plugged the mic into a relatively new iMac, and GarageBand had no issue recognizing the mic and using it for audio input&mdash;nor did the mic&rsquo;s audio quality sound compromised in any way.&nbsp;

 Despite the no-frills design, the Seiren Mini is easy to use and aimed at live streaming gamers, but it&rsquo;s also perfectly appropriate for podcasting or basic vocal recording. The Snowball Ice remains our Editors' Choice winner in this price range, but the Seiren Mini offers a slightly warmer signal that will appeal to some.

Best Mic / NO GOOD FOR ASMR

 Comparison between the two now this is actually used for streaming. It'S really good for streaming up. Condenser mics in general are good for streaming, condenser mics themselves, uh. The best way to explain it

 This is an apple provided, usbc dongle that has a breakout to a usb port, as well as a usbc port for charging and an hdmi we're not using the actual hdmi input, we're just using the usb to actually charge the razer mic and whenever it comes to Razer mic on an ipad typically, the best way to test it here is to go into imovie and then just try to record some audio to see if it gets picked up now with imovie imovie won't. Actually let you hit the mic unless there's some video. That'S already on here, so basically, i just did a recording um using the ipad of the razor here. That way, we have a video here down here on our timeline
