Great product, saves me time and headache!

 It comes with the standard little USB cable which is interchangeable with any other you might have, but this one has a little nearly gone and also comes with a spare ink cartridge. These are a standard cartridge type known as D1 then not manufactured or sold on you, but any you find should be compatible. although Neo does have a list of recommended ones from specific manufacturers which you can find our website. The pen needs charging when it arrives and the red light here indicates that is charging

 We essentially bought this as an alternative to a graphics tablet, which we may still get in future Anyway, their pen arrives in a sleek, minimal box, definitely taking some cues from Apple in terms of presentation. The form factor of the pen is totaling like an orb, and most of the other options out there are definitely on the chunkier side, so it's great to feel as it does. Their build quality and design is very good. It's a nice object in and of itself and doesn't look or feel particularly like something digital

Hmm, for beginners looking to minimize the fountain pen lottery, I’d look at Pilot and TWSBI. Kakuno and Metropolitan are excellent intro pens, and the TWSBI Swipe is the best beginner pen in my opinion. They can all be had for sub-$30 and come with reliable-to-exceptional nibs (to this day, the best stock medium nib I’ve ever felt was on a Pilot metro).

I've made sure to try to look at brands that aren't just the traditional ones recommended to starters (Pilot, and Lamy, etc.). But it would be nice to know what fountain pen brands have flaws that would make them bad for a beginner (or anyone in general). I have heard of some brands having quality control issues, so anymore information similar to that would be very helpful.

What pen brands would you, and wouldn't recommend to a beginner?

 I adore my Swipe. The build quality is surprisingly good on the pen itself, and the nib is one of my absolute favorites. I reach for it all the time. And I have no intention of replacing it with something more expensive

Which of your Pens are you Content with?

The fine nib pen unlike the medium nib ink pen had ink flow problems. The construction of the pen is good based on its price. The Goulet people provide fast a courtesy service and fast shipment.

 It has written perfectly no issues at all. The medium nib is a generously medium nib and very smooth as well as wet. I think it is one of the better values available I have come across. There is no risk with this purchase

Fantastic pen! It’s cheap, it’s solid, it comes with a big cartridge and two converters! I was jonesing to try another TWSBI and decided to get the Swipe because of its price, build quality, and the two converters. I grabbed a 1.1mm stub and it’s great to write with. The grip is surprisingly easy (as in I’m never fighting to find an ideal/comfortable grip) and I haven’t had a single skip yet with the pen (and I’m using shimmering ink right now)
