 The tray is difficult to slide and worse, easily dislodges nearby wiring. And unlike Webers the smaller grease pan isn't easy to access. I relocated the wiring but haven't found a way to make the pan slide smoothly.  Next, when walking on our wood deck, the 'flavor bars' not above burners rattle! They're are not held in the fire box the same as those over the burners

C’MON Napoleon - with a relatively expensive grill like this, how about you charge me another $10 - $20 an give your customers metal handles and quality doors+hinges that reflect the quality of the rest of the grill. VERRY DISAPPOINTING. I’ll tolerate it and keep the grill but I won’t recommend it to my good friends or family

The doors themselves are paper thin metal on a plastic frame that flexes as it’s opened and closed and doesn’t hold its shape well at all.  They are pieces of junk compared to all the other parts of the grill (IMHO). The handles, other than the grill lid, are cheap chrome colored pieces of plastic that the paint will certainly flake off of within a few months to a year. Good Mid Grade Grill - Some Concerns

 Challenging to roll across smooth concrete let alone sculpted patio scenarios. Set it and forget it but why not one up Weber and put some decent poly wheels on these medium to higher end grills?  Packaging. Napoleon is the Apple of grill packaging. Very nicely done! Even with a little damage to the top of the box, they anticipated this and was packed in such a way to not damage the grill

 Sad you coach employees to say that as opposed to standing behind your products that really stood on their own for generations!  On to Napoleon. Exceptional material quality and tolerances outside of the aforementioned front doors. The rear and side sear stations are no joke! Weber claimed to sear but it was nothing like this Napoleon! I like to Sous Vide poultry and lean pork and then get that char without further cooking.  Even heat distribution on exceptional cooking grates

Built like a tank but not all stainless...

 The Lifetime/15 Year Warranty is outstanding. It came well packaged for shipping (all corrugated packing - no Styrofoam) with no damage. The pictorial assembly instructions were easy to follow.  The cast tub and heavy top look like they will last a long time

 Time for a switch.  Watched and read reviews on the Napoleon and decided to give it a try. It has the infrared rotisserie burner with complete rotisserie kit and the infrared side sear burner which don't come on the equivalent Weber models. More bang for the buck

 The ignitor for the infrared doesn't work and it must be lit manually. I didn't really want to spend $2,000 for a grill. I read the reviews and decided to spend the extra money even though there are many grills such as the KitchenAid grill which sell (by Amazon) for $799. The saying "that you get what you pay for" isn't always true

 My KitchenAid competed with many other brands until it finally wore out. I will not recommend the Napoleon grill. Too expensive for what you actually get.

Our favorite flat-top grill was great to cook on, easy to use, and simple to clean. It made evenly cooked and thoroughly browned food and had the second largest cooktop of the grills we tested, which easily accommodated enough food to feed a crowd. The grill had distinct hotter and cooler zones, making it possible to successfully sear burgers and gently toast burger buns at the same time. It also had four wheels for easy transport, two well-positioned side tables that made it convenient to transfer food to and from the cooktop, and a large opening and drip cup at the back of the grill that made for easy cleanup. Two of the wheels can be locked to ensure that the grill stays in place while it’s being used. While it did emerge from its packaging covered in a sticky factory coating, this came off easily as we seasoned the cooktop.

 so this shelf will give you a decent amount of storage underneath and on top and it's all secured here with these doors, which by the way are pretty heavy. The magnets on these, by the way, they work very well. There was another grill I reviewed recently where the magnets were very weak. These hold the doors in very, very well

 Now we're just gonna let this smoke until it starts to get to be a thinner smoke. Then we know that the griddle top has absorbed the most of that oil and then we'll go ahead and put on the next coat. So this has been burning the oil for about five minutes and the smoke is starting to thin out. I'm gonna add another coat and then we'll probably do another coat

 Definitely don't put this underneath. Okay, coat one is done. Now we're just gonna let this smoke until it starts to get to be a thinner smoke. Then we know that the griddle top has absorbed the most of that oil and then we'll go ahead and put on the next coat

 Now let's check that grease tray and see how much of this stuff we caught. Now with cooking bacon, it's the one thing that tends to make the biggest mess and you can see we have no mess underneath right here. We have all that grease and grime, so testing with that bacon is a really good way to test that grease system. And it seems to work fine now
