  It's not all positive however, the Moondrop Aria's can cause some ear tenderness after hours of wearing. Changing the eartips out to custom ones doesn't really help much, but it can if you find an eartip that really works well for you. I think this tenderness is due to the metal casing that is used, but I can't complain too much about them being metal because it'll add durability and make them last longer.  The Aria's has a noticeable bass-line, while not drowning out the mids or trebles. These even replaced my go-to earbuds when I'm running around the house, AirPod Pro. I wouldn't call these the best pair of headphones or earbuds I've ever used, but when you compare the price range of my personal favorite listening experience (Bose QC35 II), you can buy four Aria's for the Bose. The kicker, the Bose has a little cleaner mids and punchier bass, but that's to be expected when comparing headphones to earbuds

I bought these earbuds for two reasons: To replace my broken Logitech G433 Gaming Headset and so I have a really high end pair of wired earbuds/headphones. These did not disappoint. The Moondrop Aria's sound amazing on Windows (you will need a basic DAC for this though, thanks Windows) and on iOS.  I listen to a lot of metal music, so I find low to mid tier audio devices struggling with some of my music tastes

These can be driven to a good volume by just about anything including phones

One of the best value for money IEMs with fantastic performance

 This time the right channel made a soft pop. Now the earphone that I do have barely gets to a listenable level at full volume on my phone and has the same tinny-ness as the left. The quality control of these units is awful and the process of getting anything about it fixed at all is more of a hastle and wait than I am willing to go through again (keep in mind it's been three months since I've recieved the headphones and not only are neither working properly anymore, but half of that time was spent with only one earphone anyway).  Update: The company happily and swiftly issued a refund at request after a breif explanation, so it is at least easy to get refunds/replacements, and for that I give them credit

Great sound, AWFUL reliability

Very Clean with a real nice clarity to them. It’s definitely balanced over all, nothing is trying to out do the other frequencies, though there is a little lift in the bass and in the treble region, the mid range seems pretty level and maybe a pinch upper mid lift as well, as the vocals come in nicely as well with no recess. For me, this isn’t my favorite tuning, but I will say the tuning is done pretty excellent for what they went after, and add the price in, these are a bargain without a doubt, though I do like the Starfields a touch better, though they’re almost identical, I like the color and shape of the Starfield, and I think the Soundstage is just a smudge larger and more precise, which with them I can really get lost with my eyes close pinpointing where the sounds are, not that these can’t, they can, just slightly less, but factor in the cost, you can’t go wrong with these. I do get a craving for more bass with these, as it just seems not enough, though I do get a natural feel to the sounds with them, in though when I listen to Classical Rock, such as AC/DC “Thunderstruck”, the guitar comes in nicely with the vocals, and then the drums kick in, all is clear and clean, I just feel like I want more Mmmmph! to it, some more meat, as it sounds a little lean, even though everything comes in nicely

Also when I listened to the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, “Cantarella Kaito & Hatsune Miku”, I was amazed at how the single dynamic driver picked up the different instruments nicely, very enjoyable, though I found the French Horn to again be kind of lean, and when the organ started at the beginning, I could feel the sub-bass rumble kick in, but it wasn’t as impactful as I would like, though it did dive there, it just didn’t have the power behind it

 But again, this isn’t what they were aiming for and I have to keep that in mind. I gave them a 5 star, because of how balanced they are, how clean they are, the clarity, everything is done just right to bring out all the instruments with nice detail, a balanced & natural sound, build is also wonderful and then factor in the cost, you won’t find anything better with this particular sound signature at this price. I should note, I tried on a few different amps and dacs, and found that I liked this setup the best, LOXJIE D30 DAC tied to the iFi Zen Can with the XBass on. It gave it a touch more life/musicality and the Zen can simply refined it all

Clean, Balanced & Clear!

Basically, when I'm wearing them, only the tips are in and not the body, so I'll be sending them back. Before I purchased the T3 Plus, by the bunch of reviews and comments I've heard and read about the Moondrop Aria's, they seem like a good upgrade from the Blon's because of the similar warm balanced tuning. However, I'm still concerned about the fit since their size looks similar to the T3 Plus' and definitely those paint chipping issues.

 I'm not sure what causes it, but this can't stay in my ear at a long time, compared to the Moondrop Quarks, which is one of the smallest and cheapest In ear, but it has a muddy mid which I don't really like. But since it's has a really good price, I can't complain about this at all.

 If you are going to find any decent in-ear/earbuds, it's worth to give this a try blindly if you don't know anything at all, I bet you won't regret about it.  The bass is good enough to not leak into the mid, but strong enough you can feel it, it has this distinct different sounds, like it has it's own characteristic in it, soft and slightly sharp at the same time. The mid is correctly balanced, detail at it's upmost. The treble is also well tuned that it displays enough detail of the songs, while not cutting user's ear.  I would recommend this thing everyday for everyone, even with people who's not into audiophiles

If you want the most balanced audio profile, or just want bang for the buck, this is the one.

 Does all of this sound familiar?  What happens next made me get up from my bed to write this review.  Lost, confused, and disappointed that I might have to buy a new pair I grabbed the box again and started prodding around. I noticed that underneath the compartment where the case is I could lift it up to reveal a hidden box inside. Inside the box was a warranty, notes, miscellaneous cards and then a clear package filled with tweezers

  The earphones are great and for most reviews saying it's a quality control issue I can rest assure you that you probably just have to change the filters.  tl;dr: change the filters that are hidden inside the box to fix your sound imbalance problem

 However, after about 3 months of use I noticed that the left earbud was starting to sound a lot more quieter than my right earbud and started to panic. I tried shaking the earbud, blowing on it, and this would make the sound stabilize for a couple of hours only for me to come back to the same issue. Does all of this sound familiar?  What happens next made me get up from my bed to write this review.  Lost, confused, and disappointed that I might have to buy a new pair I grabbed the box again and started prodding around

I suspect that the problem is due to moisture and wax buildup that catches onto the filters and changing them every now and then. Now they're not custom, I wasn't quite ready to venture into that world yet, but these are arguably one of the best universal fit monitors on the market, and that is the Shure SE846. So let's take a look at them and see what they're all about

Now in terms of isolation, these things are amazing. Shure claims they can isolate up to 37 dB, and from my experience, I'd say that's accurate

 I've been a long time user of the DirectSound EX-29s, which are really great for isolation, and I love them, but these in-ears are just on a different level that over-ear headphones can't compete with. I'm able to hear details in my drum mix now that I've never really heard, which allows me to really dial in my levels and monitor with more clarity than ever before. So I'm excited to get to experiment with these more over time and experience everything they have to offer. Eventually, I'd like to get some custom in-ears like these, but until then, I think these are going to be perfect for what I need right now

 Now they're not custom, I wasn't quite ready to venture into that world yet,

 but these are arguably one of the best universal fit monitors on the market,

 and that is the Shure SE846. So let's take a look at them and see what they're all about.

 So these are the top of the line in-ears that Shure makes and it's pretty clear from their

 presentation that these represent the pinnacle of Shure's engineering and expertise. They're

 the only model in the SE line that features quad drivers with a frequency response from 15 hertz,

 which is quite low, up to 20k, and Shure describes them as an earphone with true subwoofer performance.
