 The circulation pump is frozen and needs to be replaced. Its a brand new unit!!! So I called the store again and offered to spend more money on a higher end Miele and they said I need to call the manufacturer. Well I called them and they escalated the tech support call to whoever makes these decisions and I am currently awaiting an answer. The warranty service company has a replacement motor on order, but because of "COVID" (I've grown tired of that excuse for everything), they have no idea how long it will take for the part to arrive, and once it does, they have no idea how soon they'll be able to schedule someone to come out to replace it because they're backlogged because of (cough cough) COVID

 So I waited 3 weeks for a warranty service rep to come out to the house. He fired it up and came to the same conclusion. The circulation pump is frozen and needs to be replaced. I have lived in my house for a very long time and was finally able to update and remodel my kitchen.  That included, for the first time in my life, a dishwasher that I thought I would never want or use.  This one is easy to use, does a great job and most of all is so quiet that I can hardly tell that it is running unless I am right next to it.
