  Most of my writing is pretty temporary; to-do lists, phone numbers, or scribbling nonsense just testing a new pen or ink.  The Mnemosyne line has been much more practical for me; I love that I can have high quality paper that's easy to rip out without destroying the notebook lol.

Current state of the Mnemosyne collection. I don't have a problem, I can quit whenever I want...

  If you are using this book with Sharpie Markers or anything like that, I wouldn't suggest it but for an average user, I'd say it would be a good start before shelling out twice as much for a bigger brand name.

Great value for money, fantastic paper, more feedback than rhodia, Clairefontaine, tomoe River or apica (all of those are pretty smooth). So if those papers are too "slippery" for you, midori MD is the paper to go for. Also, they lay open flat, you have good shading, zero feathering or bleedthrough.

 They really got all of the features that I like in this notebook, so that was really good. Now, the things that I don't like mainly my biggest issue with it is kind of the the build quality. I have two of these now and you know they seem to be kind of made in a way that's maybe a little bit more sloppy. There are pages inside that are dirty or that are missing dots in some area

 I also don't love that there's there's no headband here so you can just see kind of like this brown paper and like glue in the back of the spine. It's just this notebook doesn't feel luxurious. The paper is really good japanese tamoya river paper, but everything else about it is kind of underwhelming. So I decided to do the review because I think this notebook can make sense for some people

 So my impressions and like, okay here's the the pace down and there's a little hole in it. So I do think this replacement one is better than this one. but it's not perfect and you know I kind of had to think do I want to make a video on this notebook when I kind of went back and forth on it. Ultimately, I think this is a good notebook if you like the features and you want that to mow your river paper

 I've dealt with worse, and it's not enough to ding it's score at all. Overall, absolutely worth the price, and I'll be stocking up on these as they are incredible.

 Some of the pages had a small amount of glue on the edges that held them together. This was an easy fix though, and only a minor annoyance. 10/10, 5 stars, seal of excellence, however you  want to say it. This is a phenomenal journal. The paper is buttery smooth, has no bleed through, and while you can see the writing on the opposite side of the page it's not distracting enough to warrant not using the back. There were a couple of issues upon opening it up, however
