Notebook Review: Endless Recorder Notebook — The Gentleman Stationer
The Endless Recorder, the product of a relatively new company based in India called Endless Works, has updated this format by incorporating 187 numbered pages of 68 GSM Tomoe River dot grid paper into a compact notebook with a similar faux-leather cover. The notebook comes in four colors: black, blue, red, and green, each with a sky blue elastic closure. The specs of the Endless Recorder
The Endless Recorder Notebook Review
That in and of itself is not what excites me with the Endless Recorder. Sure, the brooch is a cool addon, the carry bag with an integrated pen loop is great, but my key takeaway from this review is that Endless takes all these features that people love in various notebooks and implements them incredibly well into the final product. The Endless Recorder is a very well-made notebook available for a reasonable price

Great notebook
I use this for my bullet journal. I love how the ink just glides across this paper. My only complaint is that I wish there were more cover color options and band color options but otherwise it’s perfect!

Tomoe River.... not what you grew up with.
I am really disappointed with the change of Tomoe River paper. I would not have purchased this had I known it was the “new” Tomoe River paper (Tomoegawa). It feels and writes absolutely different from what I am used to. Since the reason I love Tomoe river for its ability to highlight fountain pens i...

Endless Recorder Notebook Review | The Best Hardcover Tomoe River Notebook ?
The cover feels cheap. there are only six signatures for 192 pages, which is not a lot, and it doesn't lay quite as flat as most of the other notebooks that I like to use and that I've reviewed on this channel, so in that sense it's definitely a letdown. There are also downsides to the Tomoe River paper

Amazing
10/10, 5 stars, seal of excellence, however you want to say it. This is a phenomenal journal. The paper is buttery smooth, has no bleed through, and while you can see the writing on the opposite side of the page it's not distracting enough to warrant not using the back. There were a couple of issues...

Tomoe River 68gsm Endless Recorder
I use the standard 52 gsm Tomoe River for travel but it ghosts badly with heavy inks. The Endless Recorder uses the heavier 68 gsm which works out perfectly for dipping inks, water color etc without waisting the other side of the page... Great!

Paper good but binding is too stiff
The paper is great. However, the notebooks does not lay flat and the binding is very stiff. Made it very uncomfortable to use for a left handed writer.

Love these Notebooks
This is my second Endless notebook. I love everything about them. The size is perfect for my everyday use, the paper doesn’t bleed or feather, and the build quality is superb.
