 I still needed to do my Vitamin C routine, so I did that. And yeah, this is what my skin looks like right now in morning. Day seven: my skin seems significantly less red than the night before, so I'm really happy for that. Um, the Vitamin C is really doing its work by brightening and evening out my redness

 So this is the eighth morning and it's my last day of doing the Vitamin C challenge and this is my final results. I definitely see that my skin is definitely looking better than before, especially one side of the face. It's definitely less hyper pigmented and I know it One week is not going to do much, but it is working because I see a little difference and I'll continue using this product because I really like it and hopefully we see some good results by like the three month mark you.

 All right. So I'm just gonna top it off with moisturizer and call it a night tonight. Guys, this is Day five in the Morning update and this is what my skin looks like. Without anything on today, I really see a difference in my skin

 Yeah, so I'm just gonna go in with four or five drops. As usual, I'm just gonna pat that in to my skin. I noticed that people have been experiencing a lot of like masking which is like inflammation and growing. You know, acne under a mask from using the mask for too long

 I’m also in the uk and got a vichy vitamin c serum from boots which was much cheaper and I thought did a good job of lightening some of my darker spots ! Just looked it up and it says 15% vitamin c. Both the skinceuticals one and the Vichy one have quite a sticky texture which I don’t really like but I have seen results. People love melano cc vitamin c which I also tried.

So far I am liking it, my skin is feeling soft and more even toned and brighter, but going to wait until I’ve used the whole bottle to decide whether It’s worth the price tag.. For those with leftover red marks from acne (PIH): Melano CC Essence. The packaging keeps the vitamin C stable for a long time, unlike traditional dropper style packaging from other brands. It’s gentle and feels oily initially, but after two minutes it feels like you didn’t even put anything on your face. Results aren’t instant, but after a month of daily AM use my acne marks had considerably faded

 Overall, it’s a nice refreshing mist. I don’t regret purchasing it even though there’s cheaper facial mists out there.

It's so affordable and one tube lasts forever. The packaging is great for everyday use and travel. Everything I've used from Rohto has been so good on my skin. Melano cc essence, shirojyun, even the hadalabo face wash - they're all gentle and kind to my skin

 Hopefully that's just taken some of the mystery out of Witch Hazel. I would have shown that on the right skin types, it's perfectly safe to use and can give so many great benefits. It's a myth that it destroys the skin and impairs the barrier function, but like with all ingredients, you need to match it to your skin type, and hopefully that's just explained everything for you. Make sure you leave your own experiences with failures below Is this a ding ding ding? Ultimate Holy Grail for you

 Another thing, which, unfortunately the Thayer's toner is often tied with, is the other Witch Hazel-based toners on the market, while the Thea's tone is actually quite good in terms of its ingredients list, very basic, really harnessing the power of that witch hazel to deliver all of the benefits. A lot of other Witch Hazel toners on the market lean into the astringent properties of the Witch Hazel and dial them up with drying alcohols. Drying or denatured alcohol will help to mattify, mop, up some of that excess oil and sebum in the skin, and it will also give a temporary constriction and a stringent effect on the skin. This allows you to double down on the impact that you're getting from the Witch Hazel

 I wouldn't recommend. It's a product you use every single day. Use it on those days where you're maybe waking up feeling a little bit oily, a little bit extra greasy. in those summer months where it can just be nice to have a little bit of freshness and mattify the skin a little bit from the start of the day, I won't use it every single day and I'm currently using Witch Hazel in my routine

 However, in the long term, drying denatured alcohols can lead to increased sensitivity, redness, irritation, and dryness in the skin. And so I would always say, if you're reaching for Witch hazel as a great ingredient to add into your skincare routine, even if you have oily or combination oily skin, make sure you're not choosing a toner which has um, drying or denatured alcohols within it because you just really don't need all that extra astringent power or the potential dryness that comes with it. I would totally recommend the Thayer's original Witch Hazel toner, provided you have oily or combination oily skin. Definitely avoid if you have dry or combination dry skin, but for everyone else, it can give great benefits

My husband uses this in the morning as a face wash with a cotton round, and before bed

 Has no drying effect, takes the oils away, and leaves skin feeling clean. I have even used this on my 6 year olds face when she starts getting blemishes on those days shes had to much pizza! Wonderful Product. Recommend to everyone.

 Witch hazel is not the second ingredient but the fifth. There is more fragrance than witch hazel in this stuff. It would have been more accurate if they'd called it Thayers 'Eau de Witch Hazel'.  So, Thayer - here's one star for your trouble

False advertising. Inexcusable.
