So even though it said 35% battery, I didn't actually have the full range of a third of the battery

 And the way you do that is like this. So you just hold the option and the power button when the controller is turned off. And then when it turns on, you'll see right there, right now it's set to miles per hour, but if you turn the wheel, it'll switch to kilometers per hour. And then if you want to select that, you know, you just go ahead and press the power button again, and that's how you select it

 The bigger deck, the flex, the large wheels, the longer wheelbase, the wider stance, all of that put together makes for a very comfortable ride. The new remote has a flashlight built in. That's kind of neat. The thumb wheel is nice and wide

 And for the battery, it uses 10S2P 5A hours with 180 watt-hours. The board's marketed range is 16 miles or 25 kilometers. We had a 95 kilogram or 209 pound rider test it out, and the result is 11 miles or 18 kilometers in range. This is no surprise for a 5 amp-hour battery

 Riding it for the first time, I was very shocked. As we have mentioned, the trucks felt responsive and the board felt nimble but stable. Add into the formula that they used Hobbywing ESC, the controls were super smooth. Acceleration is pretty darn strong

 The whole thing weighs less than 15.5 pounds or 7 kilograms making it lightweight and easy to carry whenever you go. There's a big missed opportunity here to offer a 90 watt hour battery pack. This is the best short electric skateboard I've ridden in a while and it would be great to be able to take this on a plane with me when traveling

 On my test ride, I did reach that top speed, I actually hit 25.1 miles which is 40.4kmh. It kind of felt like it was still accelerating before I backed off, so it might even have a little more in it

 The ESC or electronic speed controller is what gives smooth control over your acceleration and braking and on the WowGo Mini 2 the Hobbywing ESC is extremely smooth. I never had the fear of being thrown off when either accelerating or braking. That's not to say that the acceleration isn't powerful, it is if you're not prepared for takeoff but I always felt completely in control of the board's speed and it never did anything unexpected which is a huge confidence boost. The electronics are encased in a single enclosure made of plastic
