 And the way you do that is like this. So you just hold the option and the power button when the controller is turned off. And then when it turns on, you'll see right there, right now it's set to miles per hour, but if you turn the wheel, it'll switch to kilometers per hour. And then if you want to select that, you know, you just go ahead and press the power button again, and that's how you select it

 The bigger deck, the flex, the large wheels, the longer wheelbase, the wider stance, all of that put together makes for a very comfortable ride. The new remote has a flashlight built in. That's kind of neat. The thumb wheel is nice and wide

 For example, if you're approaching a turn and you want to slow down just the right amount at just the right time, it's really hard to do that with this board because the control is just not that precise. And this problem exists on every board that uses the same ESC as the Meepo. Even with those flaws, I think the Meepo NLS is a fine product. You just need to be aware that this board is designed more for comfort

 To change speed modes, you just tap the power button. Tap it once to see which mode you're currently in, and tap it a second time to cycle to the next mode. There are four modes, beginner, eco, expert, and probe. Each one of them have a different acceleration curve, and the first three modes have different top speeds

 So the Meepo has lost a little of its original pep, but has its control interface at least improved? Sadly, the answer is no. We no longer own a Meepo 1.5, so we can't say with certainty that there is absolutely no improvement here, but the bottom line is clear. This control interface is still jerky, imprecise, and vastly inferior to that of the WowGo 2S

 We did find that installing softer pivot cups on the WowGo equalized carving quality and cost only about $10, but we also observed that the WowGo's trucks and baseplates generally seem to be of a lower quality. So has Meepo re-established its dominant market position? Clearly not. In fact, it appears a company has thrown away the version 1.5's only major selling point – its strong acceleration

 So in this video, we're going to test these claims, and decide if this board can reclaim the budget board crown from its chief rival, the WowGo 2S. As always, let's start by bringing up our sensors and examining straight-line performance. In this chart, we display how hard a board can push the rider at any given speed, and as you can see, the news is not good. Remarkably, Meepo's new board accelerates significantly slower than its predecessor

 Compared to the WowGo 2S, it does perform marginally better at all speeds, but this is still a really disappointing regression within the Meepo lineup. This manifests itself in a noticeably slower 5-15mph time of 2.9 seconds, which is nearly half a second slower than its predecessor. In spite of this downgrade, the V2 still clearly outperforms the WowGo 2S, which isn't particularly surprising, since acceleration was a conspicuous weakness for the WowGo

 I'm purely doing this as a product review from my own experience and my own work with this board, which I purchased with my own money. So let's get started. The Meepo V2 really is a skateboard that punches above its class in terms of price. It retails just over $400, and yet it packs a lot of the same capabilities that something like a Boosted Board Stealth, which would retail for well over $1,000, can also provide

 Now what that means is you not only don't have to worry about not being able to find repair parts or having the board become a brick if something goes wrong with it but it also means you can ride pretty aggressively and not be too concerned about having to spend a whole lot of money on a brand new skateboard if you do happen to break something. And if anyone at Meepo is watching this is board number 1331 so whoever put number 1331 together good job because it's been a really great board for me so far. So there it is the Meepo V2 a high-performance 25 mile per hour electric skateboard it's reliable that performs well even under rough service conditions and that has all of its parts modular and ready to replace from their online store if anything should break down on the board. I highly recommend this board for anyone looking for a skateboard that's fun reliable and fast and that you don't need to spend an arm and a leg to purchase
