I'm 5'2" with an athletic build and big shoulders and have a size medium. My only complaint about the fit is that it does feel a tad snug in the shoulders, but I knew a large would swallow me everywhere else. This piece works fine as an outer layer on bluebird days, but is thin enough to become a midlayer underneath a shell if needed. I have yet to be disappointed by Marmot and this piece is no exception
