Without a doubt an excellent buy. I've been running mine through it's paces and I'm blown away by its mechanical transparency. There's no motor rumble and the speed is nearly dead on, less than 0.2% fast

 The highs are *slightly* veiled on my system currently, but that's made up for by its lack off harshness. The highs are there, just not as "up front" as Ortofon's 2M line for example.  All in all this is a gnarly TT for me to enjoy everything from my 70s classic rock to my crazy electro. Set up is easy if you're at least somewhat mechanically inclined

 Take your time! not for the absolute TT nube, but the price should preclude that group. VTA should be slightly tail down for best results. 2.2 grams VTF is working out nicely

 There's no motor rumble and the speed is nearly dead on, less than 0.2% fast. I can't imagine doing better for less than $3-4K.  The Virtioso cartridge is an excellent match for the tone arm which is the Clear Audio "Satisfy" model

 With less than 50 hours it's truly growing into a grand experience. Its very warm and bass responsiv while staying lively and articulate. The highs are *slightly* veiled on my system currently, but that's made up for by its lack off harshness. The highs are there, just not as "up front" as Ortofon's 2M line for example

 This turntable is actually made by Clear Audio for Marantz, but it's really good value for the money. I'll tell you a little bit about it here, it is a frosted acrylic plinth, frosted acrylic platter. There's some videos on YouTube actually, some guys put LED lights under it and the frosted acrylic just kind of catches the light and glows and they change their turntables a bunch of colors. It's kind of cool, so you can do that if you want

 We've got an aluminum wand tone arm. The cartridge it comes with is a really nice piece, it's a moving magnets Virtuoso cartridge from Clear Audio, that's made out of ebony, it's a wood cartridge. Output is 3.6 mV, so good output, it should work on any phono input or phono stage that you have, unlike some of the moving coil cartridges that require some better phono stages or outboard phono stages

 There's a seamless silicone belt and it comes with two of them in the package. It also comes with some white gloves too if you don't want to fingerprint the thing up while you're putting it together. The turntable does come all disassembled, so you have to put the cartridge on yourself, you have to put the platter on, put the pulley on the motor, you have to level and mount the tone arm, set your tracking force with the weight back here. So you do have to do all that

 You add those together and you get a whole lot more than $1499, so it's a really high value package. If you're looking for a turntable that you don't have to upgrade, this is a great way to go, because it's good enough. It's the first, what I feel like would be considered Hi-Fi turntable, so it's going to give you Hi-Fi performance for just that entry point price wise. So really cool one to check out
