These shorts also are a bit pricey. As I mentioned before, the Nike Tempo Running Shorts are about half the cost. Still, I think the Speed Up Shorts make up for the difference with the fabric, construction, and convenient details like pockets, but if the price is your main concern, the Nikes are a good option too. Well I need to order two sizes up… I’m 5’1” / 120lbs and normally a size 2 in jeans. I ordered a size 4 and size 6. The 4s fit but are little too snug on my butt. I like the 6s better

(I also found the sandstorm colour much lighter on the website than in reality, but I actually prefer it that way). They're still nice shorts don't get me wrong, but I was specifically looking for something light-weight(ish) that would work in the water and for hiking, and the extra weight certainly doesn't help with either of those things (I've noticed these pair to get warm with even a small amount of physical exertion).
