 Let's just make sure we've got a full empty box here. I think we've got everybody out of the box. So let's go ahead and take a look at what this is. Now one thing that's interesting is they've built a privacy cap for your lens on the C930E

 This is important because a lot of people have been getting hacked and these hackers have figured out how to hack into people's systems and turn on their webcams so they can actually see what's going on very creepily and some of them are horrible stalkers that really persecute people that have webcams and so this is a new way that you can block the feature. We'll get into that here in a bit. So one of the things you've got to do in the new age of the craziness of the internet. So really beautiful looking device here, let's peel off the shipping protection stickers and you've of course got your Carl Zeiss optics, it's an HD 1080p which is really important now more and more people are in the 1080p space

 I'm really excited about this because I just got approved for the YouTube Live experience where we can now broadcast the Google Hangouts that we do and the podcasts that The Chris Voss Show does on Google Live, which is really cool. We can go all the way up to 1080p and it's really awesome. I'm really excited to utilize this new device for those purposes of promoting The Chris Voss Show. You can see it's also really designed well for Skype and Linked

 If you're uploading videos to YouTube, you want them to be in 1080p. Stuff is advancing very fast. The new mobile phones have 1080p screens on them, so if you want people to watch your stuff and not be going, that looks horrible, you need to be recording in 1080p, so it looks good to your audience that's using 1080p mobile phones and mobile devices to watch your show, your podcast, whatever you're doing. Logitech Webcam C930e Review

 The lens cover is also nice and grips tightly. I suppose it could be more prone to be lost but only if you're a really forgetful person. One big thing to note is the wider lens is exactly as described by other reviewers and the marketing information. It takes some getting used to though having came from several other traditional lens webcams

What's the point in an external expensive camera if it's no better than one embedded in the laptop. And the mic in this camera is just trash.

 Look at toothless over here and look at the webcam box on the bed. This is currently the C930e and I'm swapping over to the C920. And here we are on the C920, a lot more zoomed in and claustrophobic. And now it's talking into the C920, it's about a foot away, volume's at 90% and light sound is currently enabled

 I kind of just wanted to get a feel for it First if I said anything about it Now since we're currently in the middle of a pandemic Um, a lot of people need a webcam for stuff like school or work You have Way more free time than you did before and you want to get to streaming or you want to start a channel So because of that a lot of people are buying webcams and they're actually very very hard to come by Unless you don't mind spending over like triple the price but i'm still making this video because every now and then you'll still find like a best buy or a target that will have Like a few webcams left every now and then. Um, so just keep a lookout now the c922 and the c920 are a great webcam Don't get me wrong. But if you ask me I would say the c930 is the best choice It is the most expensive though coming in at a hundred and thirty dollars While the c922 and the c920 coming at a hundred dollars and fifty dollars respectively Starting off with the externals before we get into the internals The c930 has nearly the exact same shape and build as the c920 and 22 With omnidirectional mics on both sides of the camera the cable is not detachable which isn't really an issue As it's pretty thick and durable one at that It has a little clip attached to the webcam so you can mount it on to your monitor or tv or lay it down flat As well as a universal tripod socket on the bottom So if you have a tripod you can just screw it right in there It also comes with this privacy shutter, which isn't really that important but it's a nice thing to include in the box It has these little led lights by both sides of the lens which i've seen some say you could turn off and on At will but i've just seen them turn off and on whenever you turn your recording software off Now that we've gotten all the hardware aspects out of the way we can move on to software Now logitech does have their logitech capture software which gives you many features like vertical recording adding text over your webcam Transitions multi-device capture and more now when you go to the site to download the software You can see the webcams that it's compatible with and the c930 is not listed under the supported webcams Which is one of the drawbacks of it being a webcam geared towards business-minded people Using it for conference calls and such and won't be using it on twitch instead You could download the logitech hd camera software, which is compatible with this But it's a very stripped down version of the capture software You can only do things such as change whether you want the standard field of view of 78 degrees or the widescreen 90 degrees that we'll get to later. You can also just mess around with the colors This isn't really that big of an issue though as I use streamlabs obs And with that I could do everything the capture software can besides vertical recording Now onto the good stuff is what can it do now the c930 can do 1080p or 720p at 30 fps Which is pretty standard for most webcams some of them like the brio could do 4k Now 30 fps should be fine if you're going to be doing stuff like streaming or making videos on youtube It also features a 4x digital zoom that you'll get through the hd Camera software

 I'm using a Blue Yeti microphone right now And it's the exact same microphone that we used for this no-name brand camera as well so first thing is the price comparison the no-name brand camera was $20 that we got and This Logitech C930e we got this camera for $89.99 on eBay on Black Friday So it was on sale. These cameras are typically over $100 maybe $129 $149 it ranges between those prices and we were lucky enough to get this camera On sale on Black Friday. So as you can see from $20 to $89 There's quite a big jump in the difference in price but it really depends on what you're gonna be using the camera for if if you're just gonna be using it for just like whatever for just like regular friend chats and Nothing to do with business or being professional or anything like that Then I think the $20 camera was would be okay But if you're doing like if you're a youtuber like we are or if you make online courses or you need to do Professional meetings on Skype or anything like that Then I think that the Logitech would win in that category just because the picture quality is a lot better Also, the cool thing is with the Logitech you might not be able to see it right now But it actually has a very wide field of view Compared to the no-name brand that kind of just has like it's just kind of like you're up there in the camera but the Logitech has a very wide field of view and you can actually zoom in into the Options if you want to if you don't want it so wide like that So that's also another cool thing both of these cameras when we got them It was basically just a plug-and-play You got a USB you plugged it into the computer and then the software just installs and you can get going on it right away It's very easy to install both cameras on to Camtasia So if you want to use them for screen recorder video and video what I'm doing right now You would just choose in the options which camera and microphone you're using and then you would use the webcam instead of the one Let's say on your computer or if you didn't have one at all

So that's why we opted to get the Logitech c930e So the question that comes down to it is you know Is it worth the price is the Logitech worth the price is? Should you just get a no-name brand or whatever like that? and you really have to ask yourself what you're gonna be using it for and Your budget like if you have if you can't afford something like the Logitech and you have to get a no-name brand you have to ask yourself those types of questions and my my advice to you is if You have a business or you need to be online at a professional level that I would upgrade To the Logitech c930e if you have the funds to do so there are other models that are just below this one we decided to go for the top of the line and Just go for it because we take our business very seriously So we just wanted the best one on the market and you know, we wanted this to last for a long time And have the best quality So you really need to ask yourself what you're gonna be using it for and what what's your budget? We did get by with this camera for quite a while and it I mean it does serve its purpose so if you have really good lighting if you don't have if you don't have Enough lighting for this camera

 Anyway let's get this guy plugged in. We use Logitune to make any adjustments to this and I'll show you that next. Alright stay tuned. Alright so here we are real quick with the Logitech C930 Logitune software

 I prefer the little built-in ones that's from that's my own personal preference. Cable for this guy is five feet and then this you know attaches to your laptop and again there's a slight swivel.  Is the Logitech StreamCam worth $ 170 of your own money? And it's a really strange price point, because you can certainly get a slightly worse image for a lot less money. And the C920 in that aspect is still a fantastic product.. Then it's kind of comparable to the Logitech BRIO, obviously they've interchanged

, Let's jump into some comparisons between the Logitech StreamCam and the Logitech C920, the BRIO and the more expensive mirrorless camera setup.. So here we have the side-by-side all four cameras mounted. As close together as I could get them and all capturing a fairly standard shot with their automatic settings

 They've, called it the StreamCam and given it the tagline ``. The ultimate experience for streamers.'', But at over $ 100 more than the C920.  I think that uh, it's a lot better to have the camera coming down at you. It'S a little bit more flattering of an angle than having the camera coming looking up at you from the table, and it's also out of the way. So i think most of you guys if you buy this camera you're going to be using this kind of configuration. Now, let's take a look at what the camera can actually do and what i'll do is use obs to record everything, so you can kind of see the camera quality differences or what you can expect when using this camera

This, however, is a pretty large webcam that is designed to sit on a stand or sit on your monitor. Logitech Streamcam Plus Review | Best Plug & Play Webcam?

 The c922 seems to struggle a little with the colours with it. Looking washed out when we close the curtains, the stream cam does a really good job, but we notice that the razer key out really overexposes the image. But when we move our hands close to the lens, then the exposure looks good on the keo, but it overexposes again as soon as we move our hand away the exposure changes on all the other cameras as well. When we move our hands around overall, the stream cam is going to do a very good job and it will be a great upgrade from a cheap or inbuilt webcam

 It connects through usbc and it has a non-removable cable measuring in at approximately five feet. It comes with two different attachments which clip onto the small pieces of plastic which stick out of the head. The one attachment allows it to be installed onto a tripod and the other one allows it to connect the conventional way of resting it against your laptop or monitor. It is made of plastic with fabric material around the lens

 But when we move our hands close to the lens, then the exposure looks good on the keo, but it overexposes again as soon as we move our hand away the exposure changes on all the other cameras as well. Logitech StreamCam Quality Review

 That is a good feature to have, because i was actually thinking about an idea last week that a tripod image would look amazing on for streaming and well. This camera has it. The camera quality is pretty good for a webcam, so much better than my previous one. But personally, i think plugging in my iphone that camera quality on my iphone is better than the stream cam, but there's a lot of glitches with the iphone webcam

 The focus on this camera is top quality, because if you move up down, it's still focused all you have to do. Is that and then it has to focus, so it's pretty good at tracking your face. The one thing that i find amazing about this webcam is: when you change a setting on it, it actually saves to your pc. So when you turn off your pc and turn it back on all the settings you changed are saved to the webcam, so you never have to go back and change the settings over and over again, like i did on my last webcam, which was a nightmare now
