As the title says this board is MEGA FUN!! If you like hard charging lines and having a board underneath you that absolutely destroys everything in its path then you should get this board...like yesterday

 I'm 6ft tall, weigh about 155lbs and was riding this Ian Whistler. There were really firm conditions for the most part so it was a good test to see how well their edges held out. To me the basic felt a bit softer than the medium that it's advertised at, though so far most Yes boards I've ridden are rated stiffer than I would describe them. Between the feet it felt stable enough that I could ride fast without feeling like I was going to lose it, but it was the nose and tail that felt noticeably softer to me

 The basic is a good option for beginner to intermediate riders, especially if it's going to be the first board you buy after renting. Easy to turn, isn't going to be a scary board to ride, but the profile will still let you push it fairly hard so you won't be needing to upgrade it too quickly. It'd also be an option for more experienced park riders who want a soft board that isn't going to take much effort to press or butter, but still with a bit of that camber feel. Yes Basic 2023 Snowboard Review - An easy to ride, do it all board

 The BASIC is definitely going to be a lot of fun in the park as well, it's going to be fun and manageable on jibs, I don't think it's going to really hold you back at all trying to do those rail tricks and I think it's still going to be pretty fun on jumps as well, it's not super stable so I wouldn't say it's going to be the best for hitting those really big jumps but if you're just casually riding the park the BASIC is going to be a ton of fun. As far as rider and mind goes, I think the BASIC is pretty well suited for more beginner to intermediate riders looking for a board to ride the whole mountain with, it's not super aggressive, it's going to be fun for just casually cruising around the mountain, also going to be a good board to progress and learn with but I also think it'd be a pretty fun park board for a more experienced rider, if you're out there lapping the park looking for a board that can ride all over the park and be pretty capable, definitely don't overlook the YES BASIC.  The BASIC doesn't run a whole lot of high end fancy tech in it so they're able to offer it at a pretty fair price, it runs an extruded base for low maintenance and easy repair as well as their underbite technology, so underbite is a couple of contact points placed underfoot, they're pretty mellow but they're there to help give you a little bit of extra grip on ice or on firm snow. As far as the flex goes on the BASIC I'd definitely say it's on the softer side of medium, that rocker in the tips is making this guy a lot of fun for butters and presses and things like that as well, giving it a little bit of playfulness but it's not super soft, it's still going to offer some decent stability for carving and cruising around, if you feel like hitting some of those more medium features in the park I think there's going to be some decent stability as well, it's a pretty well rounded park flex I'd say, just on the softer side of medium. YES Basic Snowboard Review

I'm looking at getting the Yes. Basic for my first board and wanted recommendations for bindings to pair it with. Currently looking at Salomon Holograms cause they're on sale and they seem pretty good.

 What's up guys, my name is Jake, I'm a snowboard expert here at Curated.com and today we'll be reviewing the 2022 Yess Basic. So this is the flagship, budget friendly option given from Yess. It's a true twin, about a 5 out of 10 flex, given it's just a medium flex, you can ride it in any part of the mountain of the resort, get it in park with a soft flex, get some jibs in there, just stiff enough for some side hits, and it has Yess' underbite technology to really help keep the carves going as you're going down some icy chutes

It's a very predictable full poplar core, so you can really know when you're getting the flex, know exactly what's going to happen, it's very predictable, and with that comes a more forgiving and playful ride
