2022 Lib Tech Box Knife Review

 Lib Tech. Did I say Lib Techs? You said Lib Tech. It is Lib Technologies. Lib

 Technologies, this is the Boxknife. Hey, how's it going? This is the Boxknife.

 Jesse Bertner's pro model and it's a cambered board. Super cool, we'll talk

 about that in a minute. All right, okay. Here we have the Lib Tech Boxknife. Park

 board, camber dominant, as you can see. The center of the board is not touching.

 The tip and tail are. C3 is the profile shape that we're talking about and C3 is

 kind of cool. So there's a little bit of camber under each foot and the whole

 shape of the board is also camber. There's a small amount of rocker under

 the center, but it rides pretty much just like a cambered board. It has magnet

 traction. You look down the edge and you can see that it has all the points of

 contact. The idea there is that it bites the ice. It works great, it's

 patented, it's amazing. Trust me, it's awesome. And this is basically a

 freestyle park board for everything and anything. Fast, poppy, playful, loves

 riding switch, loves riding regular. Really just one of their fun, playful,

 versatile park boards. That's the Lib Tech Boxknife.

 It rides exactly the same in either direction and the first couple of things I noticed as soon as I got this board on snow is first of all that it's actually a really light snowboard. It just felt really light in my arm carrying it around and it also felt very maneuverable in the park. It's really easy to whip around thanks to its lightweight construction and I also found the flex to be a little bit softer than I was anticipating. Lib Tech rates this guy as more of a mid flex snowboard, I would say definitely on the softer side of medium, not a super soft snowboard, it's got a good park flex but it's for sure on the softer side of medium, you can get some good flex in this guy

 In my opinion that actually creates some really nice flex zones so if you're trying to get into presses on rails or doing butters, it's not too difficult to get some nice tall presses going on the box knife. That camber profile combined with the medium soft park flex makes this guy very jib friendly while not being too soft to take on the larger features as well. Today I was hitting a nice range of features size wise here in the Blackcomb Park, some larger jumps at the top to some more medium to smaller jumps at the bottom. So I kind of got to feel out the full range and I'll say that this board is definitely going to be comfortable on the larger features but if you do get too far over the nose or tail it can butter out on you

 It's really easy to whip around thanks to its lightweight construction and I also found the flex to be a little bit softer than I was anticipating.
