My most recent purchase was a Leaf Twig, and that razor has been delightful. I have no complaints with it thus far.

I’ve been looking at more videos and instruction manuals, and apparently the razor works better held flatter to the face with minimal pressure to directly activate the pivot. Instead, I was holding the angle with the reference surface itself flat to my face making it work more like a standard safety razor with the pivot acting in the background. I find it ironic that it’s taken years to figure out the best angle to hold this razor when it’s supposed to have a built-in angle by design, and find the learning curve to be similar to a standard safety razor.

I first tried a safety razor from a cheap $12 asian brand. It worked alright, but broke rather pathetically after a month or two (failed butterfly clasp) and I didn't try again for years. This Rockwell razor was what got me to take a second look at using a safety. The craftsmanship is on-point! With the proper care I expect this thing might be my companion for multiple decades of shaving to come
