KZ ZSN PRO, good budget IEM can recommend. Moondrop Starfield, oooooh boy these are a good one. Currently the newest in my collection, arguably the best sounding aswell. Headphones from the left to the right: Jabra Elite 65t, KZ ZSN PRO, Moondrop Starfield, Koss porta Pro, Philips SHP9500. As you might have noticed, these are all pretty standard widely recommended headphones so I won't get into much detail here (If you want more detail about any of them feel free to ask). Starting with the 65t's, I bought them for watching youtube and movies on my phone. Decent sound overall, very comfortable, only real flaw is the case. No magnets and micro USB. KZ ZSN PRO, good budget IEM can recommend. Moondrop Starfield, oooooh boy these are a good one. Currently the newest in my collection, arguably the best sounding aswell. I fell in love with how they look and sound, absolutely amazing and I can recommend them to anyone who's looking for a new pair of IEM's. Koss Porta Pro, another classic. Perfect comfort, good sound, decent price. They're my main gaming headphones (I mainly play rhythm games). Philips SHP9500, the "sit down and listen" headphones, great Soundstage, lots of detail (not as much as the Starfield but more than the others) comfortable but I can definitely feel them on my head. I also use a Fiio BTR3k but since I just got it I'm not going to say anything about it... yet.

A friend recently lent me his Koss Porta Pros.

What is it with these? All of the ingredients are wrong. Flimsy build, fixed cable, dodgy comfort switch, 80s ugly, lo-fi sound, all mid-bass, treble MIA. But... for some reason... I love them. I can't explain why.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you... The shelf.

 It makes what otherwise sounds like calm natural vocals sound like a whirring hissing mess of loud noises. While a lot of people might not be sensitive to these sounds, I am extremely sensitive to sounds like this so it was honestly a deal breaker for me.  Overall, while I didn't have a horrible experience with these, I would still definitely prefer picking up Koss's KSC75s over these as they not only sound a lot less hissy, but they also cost nearly the same amount. If you are looking exclusively for IEMs, maybe look elsewhere because these might not be the best for you

What are the best headphones/earbuds for sleeping with under $300

These are great in ears, easily beat the more expensive options. The included ear tips are OK, I've put the memory foam Dekoni ear tips and it made them more comfortable and increased the noise isolation. Overall, a great pair of in-ear monitors. Would highly recommend

 You get a very balanced sound, so if you like bass, these might not be for you. I prefer them this way because you get to hear almost everything without bass making it sound “muddy.” If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, grab these earbuds.  And the replaceable cable is useful for more than keeping these going

The Sony WI-XB400 EXTRA BASS Wireless are the best wireless earbuds with bass at a budget price point.  It's minimalist, it's clean, it's simple. Anyway, it has a pretty simple layout in its design and really really a standard wireless bluetooth earphone kind of design. It has two earphones, obviously, and two pods that contain the internals of the device, the battery and the controls. On the left pod, you have the controls of the device, the charging port and a microphone for calls

BEST BLUETOOTH EARPHONES?!- Sony WI XB400 Review

I tried the Sony WI-XB400 and they were ok but lost connection often and they were super long. It looks like the Veats and all the others that clip together are also really long.

5 isn't an option and I'm use to audiophile purchases and hearing the color of sound, but realize how the supply chain works today and manufacturing that for the purpose they would do the trick and if I feel I need headphone's to play records or a physical media medium vs. UDP (best effort) streaming where packets are going missing with wireless to bluetooth and all the network hops before it, well then I'll just hook the turn tables up and order whatever vinyl or get a dedicated device for it, but chances are I'll stick to the home theater setup and speakers I had to drive to pick up where voice coils and speakers were still handmade for under 50k each. Since I don't know if the ANC really works better as I haven't found a reason to upgrade and compare and the only issue I have with these is that on calls I sometime forget that the wire has the mic on it and or service might be a bit light down here that I'll have to turn them off and then your normal bluetooth pairing to the proper device and crowded unlicensed spectrum interference that I can't really blame Sony for what I've consulted clients on for a decade+ about with wireless speakers and other products when they say they want a setup that sounds better then mine until they'd have to actually spend the $ and not know what for as they don't appreciate the audio as I once did, but rarely find the time or content these days to be concerned with it along with the fact that networks drop packets and streaming via UDP not TCP is designed to handle dropped packets mixed with the fact that I realized the picture looks fake to me on certain displays at times, but that is because it is, since most is designed with digital tools and is just me being the old fart that one would argue on message boards that digital w/o the static in a lossless format is the best medium where the old timers would say vinyl and not let it go, but until I understood what the color of sound really was when listening to vinyl I had to search the globe for much of it and risk buying a used piece to get the 90's grunge or numetal I think it is referred to as today in a world of mostly rap and poorly mastered dubstep at one point where a mixtape CD ruined the competition car audio as the track was so distorted that lovely smell came, but the kill switch saved 1 sub which only from SPL and the smell that comes with fried electronics did I know to kill it, but had to be sure later and it was and fried the rest =/ Battery life on these seems more then suitable for the day, keep your ears clean and remember that others are around you and moving objects for some of you and these do the job just fine, sleeping in them might not always be the most comfortable, but I usually wake up drool down my face and someone yelling as I have my face smashed in the pillow when I sleep well, even though I'm not sure how I breath and sleep that way, plus w/o the cord I'm not sure I'd be able to those small ear buds out if I used it and had to grab it with scratching it with something if pushed to far in, for those of you heavy sleepers once you are asleep. If they break I'll update this otherwise 4

Sound good and do the job for playing music and making calls wo the phone in hand all the time. Purchased to try help focus while working from home and not be distracted as easily along with being a big time Sony product owner (think back to the walkman no not the CD one but the cassest sports one) for both home audio and video among other things as they still work and provided great picture quality for the CRT's way back then. Wasn't expecting much as they are sort of wireless and for the price under $30 at the time, but was pleasantly surprised and knew I lose headsets rather often so getting the Plantronics's for my desk could wait to see if I even ended up using these. The only thing to be aware of (they don't make the claim and for the price and Brand loyalty I went w/o the ANC and charging case that the ear buds usually come with)

I bought this to replace my SBH70 that I loved for years but needed something with plugs to stop outside noise. The sound is great and battery lasts me at least ten hours a charge. The length of the wires is perfect for the earbuds to sit inside of a chest pocket when bot in use. Buttons are fairly easy to use while wearing gloves
