This was the missing piece for me as a powder board and quite honestly if you are looking at this board and this review, you know why you want this thing too.  The shape and sidecut makes this board extremely fun on piste, but unlike the typical hybrid powder boards you'll find; this thing makes no compromises when it's in pow.  To me this makes the Dart, one of the best resort powder boards.

 Hello, my name is Eddie Wall, we are in Revelstoke, Canada at Eagle Pass Heli and we just finished riding the Salomon Super 8. The profile of this board is something that Salomon calls their backseat camber, so it has traditional camber in the back of the board and then as it starts going towards the nose it slowly becomes rocker and then up into this giant nose right here. This is a directional board but as you can see the tail has a lot of kick on it so it is also going to be able to land switch if you want to do some freestyle tricks and things like that. You can also see here in these last inserts they have one set that is all the way back, so those inserts are going to allow you on a really deep day to get your stance all the way in the back so that you are not going to have to tie it out your back leg
