 The flipper has nicely done jimping for fingertip traction. All edges are radiused and finished. The handle shape is fantastic for a secure hold and the aluminum scales are roughed up slightly for a good grip. The overall size is what is for me the max comfortable pocket carry size

Bigger knives like the BM Barrage take up most of the jeans pocket. This Link is slim enough and just shorter enough to leave pocket room for keys and coins and a hand

  The 420HC steel of the Link is plenty good enough for most purposes. It requires sharpening more often than the S30V but it is a well proven blade stainless steel. I don’t generally like liner locks since you must put your finger in the blade path of travel to unlock it. Use focused attention always when closing one

  The blades of the two knives are very similar: same length, same thickness with a tapered back and point though the Link has a sharper point and slightly more belly, same length of handle and overall, both have quality scales over sturdy stainless liners, same handle thickness. But the Volli costs more than 4x the Kershaw Link.  The 420HC steel of the Link is plenty good enough for most purposes. Superb quality, easy fast opening medium knife

 A qtr turn on the locking nut fixed that without loosening the blade...now it works perfectly

5", not 3.25" as was mentioned in one of the 3 blade descriptions on the Amazon site. Really good value. Started off as a 4-star blade out of the box

Very sharp with premium/super premium steel

I really like my Link and carry it most days. I used to carry my Cryo_2, but I like this better (good steel, feels good). The blade is large enough and 'beefy' enough to take everyday use. The only thing I wish was designed different is that it has a frame lock, that requires one to push it to the side (and thus putting a finger in the path of the blade) when folding

Great everyday knife. Looks good and is practical for tough jobs.

 That was easy enough to sharpen to a point however. With the Link, I found that after I deployed the blade, the lock was very strong, with no blade play. Additionally, some people have concerns about flippers deploying in their pockets and cutting their leg. Obviously caution should always be taken when you're walking a round with a sharp knife, it's not your phone and keys, it's a potential weapon

 That said, the flipping mechanism, though fast and fluid in its movements when you hit the switch, is heavy enough where I imagine it would take unusual pressure to have it deploy by accident. If you want a fast, satisfying, sharp flip knife, Kershaw makes some of my favorites.

 While I did not observe any design flaws with the lock or flipper mechanism, I imagine some factory flaws might exist. When I first go the Headgrille I was surprised to find the tip a little blunt. That was easy enough to sharpen to a point however. With the Link, I found that after I deployed the blade, the lock was very strong, with no blade play

This blade, the Link, and the other Kershaw knife I own, the Headgrille, a sadly discontinued spring assisted flipper, are really solid designs and work well when you need a blade deployed fast with one hand. The Link is smaller and lighter than the Headgrille, and that would perhaps be my only complaint here. I preferred the heavy metal body of the Headgrille, which could be used as a glass breaker in an emergency, over the Link which feels about as light as a Swiss Army Knife in your pocket. Additionally, the light weight of the Link does not equal soft, flimsy quality, as I've found with some knifes from Spyderco for instance. This knife could probably take a beating

 There were two ways that you can do it some folks, especially with longer fingers than I have, can kind of reach around front with their index finger and pull it out like that from me, I prefer it to kind of you treat it a little bit like A lighter it's hard to do this under a camera on a table here, but basically you put your thumb right here and then you use your thumb and you press this direction and it pops the knife out in that direction and then kind of goes out. This way - and so you can get to a point where this is very easy process - you pull the knife out. You position it in a certain way, and especially with this clip being positioned as it is, lunnqvist is really thinking here. It'S easy to grab it's easy to go and then the blade is open um and you can also, by the way, do this in a two-handed way

 It wasn't like. The Feist 2 is something like that. So you couldn't go online to a retailer and make sure you were getting one of the good ones and so unfortunately, a number of my reviewers in the time after that was recalled and when they said oh no, no more of them were in shops. People were still getting bad ones that was really really ugly and honestly kinda, although they still made it right for the people who got a bad one, you could still send it in and really put me off the brand for a little while that was, I don't Feel like that was handled that well, and so I kind of didn't care for that, but nevertheless they have now finally got about released a different version

 Generally. I, like a lot of it, I'm next thing size, comparison um. This is not a huge knife, particularly you can see here that deities down here right here. Ah, this is the Ontario rat number, though here it is against the Ontario rat number one, and so you can see here it's a relatively small knife, both in handle and overall and here it is against your Spyderco

 But this knife on my table hip is absolutely there's nothing ugly here. So the final conclusion: I'm gon na try and put the past aside here. You know all of that water under the frickin bridge, at least for the conclusion here, as I think the knife here is substantially a great idea, because I think smaller production front-flip is absolutely need to be a thing that the sheer number of the people - anticipating this Guy Vichy, a number of requests and desires for the original version of the Feist showed exactly that. I think they tied the original release just perfectly and had they just nailed it, it would have been a huge massive freakin hit and I think so it's a good idea to start with, and I think the second version actually fixes a number of the issues of The first one I'm adding the little bit of design and uniqueness

Usually i'm like respect the people you're around, but seriously, if you're afraid and people are afraid of this. It'S like i, i shouldn't say that everybody has their reasons.  It'S not a big knife right again, we're looking at a 2.8 inch blade. So keep that in mind as we weigh it. 2

05 ounces. It'S just not going to be a problem, but the bug out weighs 1.8 ounces uh. This isn't a problem
